Good location off motorway
Hotel was good for our overnight stay and in a good location straight off motorway. Check in was easy and they did put bith our rooms next to each other as we requested in advance.

Reasonable stay
Pleasant receptionist but gave us wrong toom. Struggled with luggage to the first floor only to told by the very apologetic receptionist our room was on the ground floor. Allocated a family room, reasonably clean but some suspicious stains on the carpet. Not facing the car park so was quiet and dark. Very busy services with 24 hour McDonald's. Would stay there again as was reasonably priced and convenient.
On arrival the lady at reception was nice and welcoming. Our room was pleasant and clean. Once we used the toilet that’s when the problem started. The tank behind the unit of the toilet literally flooded the bathroom when we flushed the toilet, seems as though it was not connected behind the unit. This was at 10pm, we were told there were no other rooms available and that we had to leave the hotel. We were told we’d be given a full refund, awaiting this refund. The staff couldn’t be more apologetic but obviously this isn’t the standard we would expect from a known hotel. Especially because we had to leave at almost 11pm and fend for ourselves.
We didn't have high expectations of a roadway stop-over but the heat in the rooms was unbearable. No aircon and unable to open the windows enough to cool the room
After a 6 hour drive we arrive at rush jour to a lovely receptionist who instantly made us. Smile, the room was very clean and functional with a small but comfortable double and a single, we slept very well it was perfect for what we needed it was hot but the fan provided really helped
Didn’t realise the property had a damp and mouldy smell, it’s very old and due for refurbishment, although the duty manager Rory and the receptionist Dantè were excellent in their service, they were kind, courteous, compassionate in that they understood the property wasn’t right for us and were quick in giving a refund without hesitation, excellent service provided by both.
