Brilliant place to stay with fantastic view and lovely walks.
Beautiful accommodation only big downside for us we were situated with a view over the lake but couldn’t see it to clearly as the windows were extremely dirty apart from this it was fab.

All of the staff in every department from check in to checkout were friendly and efficient. It was lovely to be able to use the pool, although a little disappointing that the hot tub was out of order. It was a bit of a walk from the main building to our room in the lakeside village, though not a problem as the weather was beautiful. The restaurant was well spaced out, with good Covid measures in place. We booked a table in advance as advised by the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Best fillet steak I've had in a long while.

Beautiful parts (buildings, that is), great views and good food.

Lovely main hotel and the room (Junior suite) was big but did not have a lake view as promised - looked over a kind of housing estate instead. Couldn’t see a lake at all, which was disappointing as we booked it to be able to wake up to nice views at Christmas.

Room was very spacious, comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was great, although I asked for a vegetarian sausage and it didn’t arrive. There were plenty of option though.
Swimming pool was a little tired and some of the tiles were in need of repair.

Beautiful building but very outdated amenities and rooms. The bedroom was underwhelming.

Nothing. Our room was mile's away from breakfast and it was raining heavily.

Nice relaxing, child free stay!
Pros:Quiet!
Cons:Spa facilities
We had a lovely relaxing time. I'd highly recommend. My only slight disappointment is the facilities and some of the common areas were starting to look a bit tired. An amazing breakfast though!!

One night stay
Pros:Clean and comfortable room
Cons:Only one restaurant open when we stayed with not a lot of choice.
Met up whilst both working in the area. Lovely hotel, clean and pleasant room away from the main building
