Hotel agreed in person at reception to cancel 3 nights, (even that ccl policy says no) after check in date they charged me and said hotel manager do not accept, how to understand it if reception Mr. Fabio agreed to cancel without charges? Be aware of this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at the Sophia hotel! We spent two nights here, and it was a very quiet area but still close and walkable to everything in El Centro. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the rooftop pool bar was beautiful with a great view of the city. The best part was the service, everyone on the staff was so nice and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had a family stay at Sophia hotel. The hotel itself is has a boutique feel. It was clean and the staff were bery courteous and attended to the children very well.

The sheets on our bed were stained with blood and we were a group of six and another couple had the same issue . Our bed mattress was harder than a rock .. other than that the staff was incredible and the amenities

The location is perfect, the size of my room was amazing, the hotel staff was very polite, anything you need, the hotel staff is ready to help you. Breakfast is delicious. I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this hotel!! Upon booking, they reached out to me with helpful information and offered transportation from the airport, the pick up went smoothly and was super convenient after a long flight. Staff was incredibly friendly and they truly went above and beyond with their attention to detail. Breakfast was AMAZING, the array of fruits and variety of food items was delicious. Room was spacious and clean, we had a wonderful view of the plaza outside. Bed was comfortable too. They had me at the rooftop poolside bar, the drinks were top notch and food options were great. It was the kind of vibe that made me want to stay there all day even with all the restaurant and bar options outside. Once again, I will mention how great the staff was - they really made my stay so enjoyable and I cannot wait to go back. Would one thousand percent recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Our experience was phenomenal at this hotel. The staff was incredibly nice & attentive; their attention to detail was the best! I was part of a group of 10 people celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday & they made sure we had anything we needed at all times. Our Hagia Sophia suite was incredibly clean and being next door to the pool and bar area was so convenient. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. What a great time here!
