In fact, we enjoyed this trip so much we extended our stay solely because we not only enjoyed the town, but the hotel made us want to stay even longer. Calm and serene stay

Amazing stay. Away from the hustle of the town nestled in a calm and serene neighbourhood. But still only 10 mts walk to the centre. Beautiful view of the mountains and a very good bar for drinks and relaxation.

We loved the add on breakfast, which was very extensive. The sauna was a lovely treat at the end of the day and the staff was very friendly and gracious.

Paper cups, french banks and great views

Famulous location with views of Mont Blanc and the paragliders adding to the scene. Breakfast includes this view too. Hotel is pretty old. Was a bit disappointed that I wasn't allowed a ceramic mug or glass. Paper cups don't add to the Sustainability or service score. They were kind when French bank held my money and I got robbed by my bank for exchange rate charges on lift pass.

Charming and cozy

Charming family owned hotel, staff and owners provided exceptional service, breakfast outstanding and views not to be matched! However, room was small and shower/tub slippery and difficult to get into and out of with no grab bars. Also, no shuttle provided to/from rail station but there is a bus that stops across the street.

Great for skiing. Wonderful staff.

Fantastic place to stay if you're skiing in Chamonix. Great location close to the centre, but just far enough out to be quiet. Amazing staff. All very friendly and accommodating. Let us use the room to freshen up after we skied on our last morning.

Great hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sapiniere the room wes comfortable with great views and a lovely balcony which we enjoyed. The staff were always polite and nothing was to much trouble. We will not hesitate to stay here on our return to Chamonix. Lovely place in a quiet location with stunning views, brilliant.

Home away from home

My partner and I came for a ski trip and this was the perfect place for our stay! Staff were very friendly and personable. They gave us the best restaurant and ski spot recommendations. Plus a nutritious/delicious breakfast to fuel our day. We could walk everywhere into town and had the best views of Chamonix/Mont-Blanc. Will definitely stay here again!

Bob's Stay in Chanomix

The staff was amazing and accommodated any request that I had. The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around in Chamonix. The hotel was old but very clean and very comfortable. I would return or recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Well worth the cost!

Convenient last minute reservation. Very friendly staff. The rooms could use some love though- our room had a bunch of dust left behind the door when we walked in, and it was so hot that we had to sleep with the balcony doors fully open each night due to the lack of A/C. However, outdoor area, proximity to town, and views are wonderful, and the breakfast area is great. Overall solid 3/5.
