Honestly, the staff was phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. However, the policies at this hotel guarantee that you will be nickeled and dimed around every corner. I booked ad paid through Expedia, still had extra charges I couldn’t avoid on top of those charges. WiFi is $15 a day unless you become a Marriott member, you pay for a destination fee every day you’re there, there’s no fridge to keep food, we didn’t have hot water one morning and had to take cold showers, and when I was there, it was so hard to get to other places in the city that we ended up eating at the bar on location which was spendy and not worth the money. The parking is a public self park, not reserved for hotel guests, and it was full when we arrived so we had to park off site (my own misinterpretation but when a place lists parking as an amenity, I tend to think it’s for the guests). Overall, the staff and location on the river walk was nice but I feel like it was very over priced and trying to get more and more charges at every corner. I don’t think I will stay here again.
