Extremely overpriced for what you get - not worthy

Overall, it was good. Outer appearance and public space areas are beautiful and luxurious. The rooms are extremely small for the price you pay, and everything, even use of a teeny fridge in the room, is only accessible by way of extra fees. Parking and food were outrageously overpriced. Location was great.

Hotel was Lovely, very clean and everything appeared well taken care of. Bar was extremely busy, and they ran out of food so we couldn't get an evening snack. I had to yell out my door at 5 AM due to a group of College Students banging on doors and yelling in the halls waking people up. I wish we had not been placed in a room on a floor where we were surrounded by these kids. It truly ruined our trip as we were very tired for our drive home. The event we attended at the Hotel was nice and the catered food was delicious. I have stayed at this Hotel several times and have usually had no complaints.

Stayed for a short staycation with our 5 year old. Picked Sheraton Riverwalk for its proximity to the Ice Cream museum and the Children’s Museum at Navy Pier and the swimming pool. Two issues: my son cut his foot while pushing off the wall in the pool. We couldn’t find any staff near the pool so we went to reception for a band aid and no one came over to help. Staff at the reception avoided eye contact with us while we were in line holding our bleeding son and even walked away when we got to the counter (?!) Luckily, the GM came out from the back and immediately gave us bandaids and sent desserts to our room (which was really nice). Second issue: I left my AirPod Pros in the room which was my fault. I was tracking my AirPods in Find My and noticed it moved from the hotel to the Southwest Side of Chicago. We notified the GM and Security staff with the address where the AirPods ended up. Security said they would speak to the housekeeping staff when they returned to work the following Monday. Apparently, housekeeping decided my AirPods were finders keepers and we were told we would be contacted Loss Prevention for reimbursement. I regret leaving tip for this thief. This was two weeks ago and no follow through from security or GM. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel. Staff needs better training.
