Generously sized rooms with stunning river views, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom items were impressive. The location was also good for touring nearby attractions. With a police station nearby, it was excellent in terms of security and was near a historic tourist attraction(白象街), so there was a nice building and lots to see.

Overall the hotel was excellent with good breakfast, the room was like a fully equipped apartment rather than a hotel room, the staff were very helpful. As for the location it was right on the river with easy access to walk along in the evening, the metro was a taxi ride or a 30 min walk.
