Overall the hotel was excellent with good breakfast, the room was like a fully equipped apartment rather than a hotel room, the staff were very helpful. As for the location it was right on the river with easy access to walk along in the evening, the metro was a taxi ride or a 30 min walk.

Good sized room, clean, checkin and checkout efficient, not sure about the location as I didn't get chance to walk around much! Perhaps 15 minutes from the subway but didi is cheap enough. Used the place as a hotel rather an apartment so didn't need the kitchenette etc but it all looked decent.

Room was extremely big considering price paid which was very good. Rooms were in great conditions offering great views. Staff were very helpful and a great range of amenities was offered including laundry detergent and so on. Hotel in great condition and is located in a very convenient location.

The property has 24/7 reception. Great views to the river and good access to tourist attractions and downtown. Staff are very helpfull and friendly. We had the best stay at Somerset - hands down the BEST! They upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite and it was enormous! The view of the Yangtze was magical. I didn’t want to leave the room - I just wanted to sit by the window and watch the river flow. Everything in the room worked perfectly. The beds were super comfortable. The pool is a major perk- so is the robot that delivers drinks and snacks. Definitely order something from the robot! I’ll always stay at this hotel when I’m in Chongqing. It honestly felt like home.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. We booked a room for 3 people and they gave us an extra twin bed. The staff are also nice. The security guards at the front always help us with our baggage as we had a lot.
