The room was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. I could not believe it was a Hilton. The leather on the bed headboard and the side rails was peeling. So gross. The dresser was peeling paint. I could not believe it. The overhead light had lightbulbs that were blinking. The lobby was lovely and we did receive hit cookies at check-in. The only nice thing about our stay.

At check-in we noticed the AC was out. We were told by the lady that we were stuck with the bill due to booking this thru a 3rd party. After complaining to the manager we were told they would not charge us anything for our stay and would contact Expedia for a refund for us.

The room was very clean, and the housekeepers were superior and accommodating. My only complaint is that there is evidently not a 24-hour housekeeper on duty, and the room floors are not carpeted, so we had walked and tracked dirt into the room. No one had a broom for me to sweep it up that evening.

The service from the Staff was fantastic. Alicia at the front desk was very helpful. And James who drove the shuttle went above and beyond. We were looking for a good place for dinner. He took our whole party of 10 to a restaurant in Little Italy that he recommended. He called the restaurant and made sure they could accommodate us and then told us to call him when we were done and he came and picked us up within 10 minutes, The Bartender - Marshall, was also very helpful and fun. The staff here made it a very enjoyable stay.

There wasn't staff available to help load or unload luggage and navigate up to my room. The staff did not offer explanation on any protocols of parking or how to get to the rooms - I had to drag the information out of them. The cleanliness of the room was low. The floors were dirty and the fabric chair had stains. The leather on the platform beds was ripped and worn. It was not a relaxing stay at all. And As I was there to say goodbye to my dying mother it just made the whole trip even more traumatic.

- Don’t count on shuttle service being available to the Cleveland Clinic or anywhere for that matter. Hotel doesn’t have a backup, if driver calls in sick, you’re walking. - 1 elevator wasn’t working when we arrived. - Air conditioning has been out for days. Fans provided, to blow hot air around. - Problems in the kitchen, out of multiple items on the menu when it’s open, closed other evenings. Food not always available. - Beer is ice cold and refreshing, which is nice after you walk back from the clinic. - Employees were all courteous and helpful.

There’s a lot of construction or at least it seems to be outside the hotel, there are caution cones blocking the driveway leading up to the hotel. Also, when arriving to check in, the host informs me that the guest rooms do not have air conditioning. The experience in the room was so bad that I checked out in the middle of the night and found somewhere else to stay.
