A beautiful hotel who's rooms match the style and grandeur of the main lobby. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Highly recommended.
Lovely hotel right in the middle of the action, the size of my room was very impressive and the view over the city via the bi-fold doors leading out to the corner balcony was nothing short of breathtaking.

Hotels in San Diego's districts specialise in different cuisines. The downtown area, for example, caters to generic tourist tastes. Try La Jolla district for Mexican food, such as the dishes available from Su Casa Mexican Restaurant.
Downtown La Jolla, especially Prospect Place, is great for high-end shops. San Diego hotels in Hill Crest are well placed for one of the city's best malls. Across the city, you will find that a lot of bars and clubs stay open until 2 a.m., but that they cannot serve drinks after this time.
San Diego is brimming with attractions, which is why many visitors choose to invest in the San Diego Go Card to access most of them for an attractive price. If you do not fancy the attractions the card gets you into, try heading to Balboa Park for a little outdoor relaxation. The Birch Aquarium is also a must-see. To experience the city in all its vibrant glory, visit during March to take part in the Hillcrest Mardi Gras.
Name a sport, and San Diego most likely has a team for it. One increasingly popular game is rugby. The Old Mission Beach Rugby Athletic Club is one of the best teams in the country. If you enjoy golf, pay a visit to the Torrey Pines Golf Course.
