The room was smelling too much of chlorine. The heater was working too loud, at night it woke me up every time it would turn on. I booked reservation through Expedia and it was stating you pay wat you see, we arrived at the hotel around 4 pm and I told them that we are not going to use the resort we are leaving early in the morning but we still got charged resort fees+parking around additional $100.

Our room backed onto the beach. Its was very pretty. Room was clean and all the staff we met were very courteous. Guests walk around alot, so there is a community feel. Its expensive but I think it was worth it.

We had cockroaches in our bathroom. It happened three separate times! For $400+ a night and leaving my clean home I was not pleased. Wouldn’t put my feet in the floor without socks! And one morning a vacant room next to ours had its alarm going off at 530 am - so we had to call and wait for security to go in and turn it off. The kids enjoyed the poo and the staff was kind. But I definitely won’t book here again.

The property was uniquely beautiful but in tremendous need of updating. We loved the property but the roads, rooms and facilities are in various stages of disrepair. This property is no convenient and family friendly. The staff was wonderful. I simply hate to see such a wonderful property go into disrepair.

Nice resort and we liked the location. Room was very clean and we liked having a lanai. We did not use many of the amenities except for the pool/hot tub. Most of the other things such as the mini-golf, bikes, surreys, etc. are an additional charge. We were there in November so I would be curious to see what it is like in the warmer weather; there were not many people there when we were there.
