Westin in name only.

This hotel doesn't match the brand qualitybof a Westin. It feels like it's a renovated Best Western or hotel of similar quality. There is little to no sound insulation in the rooms. Can hear the hallway and surrounding rooms.

Property is very nice. Unfortunately my room was not properly prepared when I arrived. Found hair on bathtub and bathroom counter and floor seemed dirty with shoe marks. Should have complained at front desk but was too tired to bother switching rooms, etc…

We stayed here post-cruise before our flight home via the Sanford-Orlando airport. Its proximity to this airport is why we chose the Westin. We loved the outside areas on the property, although it was too cold to enjoy the pool! We did enjoy walking the area both days that we were there. Publix is right across the street and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a terrific lunch at Shula's, which is located on the property. My husband ordered THE best hamburger I've ever tasted-the French Onion burger. We would not hesitate to stay here again should we return to the Lake Mary region.

First, let me say we have stayed at this Westin many times and our experience has always been good until this trip. First. We had a girls high school or college Basketball team staying in our area, loud, partying and basically just out of control. I called the front desk and complained. They offered to move us but we were in bed and my wife wasn’t going to pack up and move and that time of night. I insisted the front desk send someone to tell the girls to cool it!!! Next, we did move rooms the next day, and ran out of hot water twice!!! My wife was livid. Needless to say the holidays brings out large crowds and challenges but we are not happy with this level of service at a Westin hotel.
