There were no iron in my room just the ironing board. Also called the front desk around 1am to get a ride back to our room from main property but there was no answer so my partner and I had to walk back to our room. Otherwise the stay was great. Loved the bath house. Also loved the versatility of the property restaurant. Room were nice and spacious with a breathtaking view.

We had to move rooms due to bad room and a lot of noise . Live music promised on Valentines night 7-11pm and it finished at 10pm when we got there after dinner . We went to the bar instead and they closed the bar at 1045pm . The bartender basically told us last call as we sat down . I won’t stay there again as it was disappointing to say the least and we have stayed there on many occasions and it’s not cheap !!

Staying at Gurney's after their many renovations was surprising !! The rooms don't look outdated anymore including the Spa / Pool area - for the price you're paying per night, I appreciated the face lift. Oceanviews from any angle of this hotel site will always be incredible !

All of the staff were lovely. The food was much improved since the last time, and the room had nice fixtures, but they were in dire need of maintenance. The first time we went to Gurneys for our Anniversary, they put us in a suite and had beds and bowls for our little dogs. This year, they put us in the farthest building, overlooking the parking lot with no amenities for our dogs (who we paid for). They did not even provide hand towels! I hope they can improve because for that price, off-season, we can find better.
