Clean property, comfy bed and pillows. Signage was a little confusing for walkways and where various shops/restaurants were but it’s manageable. Construction was going on in the building starting around 8/9am which was annoying, but not the end of the world. Also no shampoo just 2 shower gel bottles and a conditioner. But the view was amazing.

Staff was Great. Check in was quick. Went for the Rock and roll marathon everything was convenient. The view was beautiful. Room was cozy. The only complaint I had was the shower didn’t drain well. I would stay here again.

I booked a King room with a Coronado view at the Hilton San Diego a month ahead for Memorial Day weekend, but was told at check-in (11 PM!) that my room was no longer available. This was incredibly disappointing—especially from a Hilton. They offered a $60 food & beverage credit, but by that time, only the bar was open, and we had no time to use it the next day due to our travel plans. To make things worse, we were given a room with a depressing industrial view instead of the one we reserved. If the room type had to be changed, the least they could’ve done was honor the original view. I’m not blaming the staff—they were kind and tried their best—but Hilton’s reservation system is clearly unreliable. If you book here, know that you might not get the room you paid for. I won’t be staying at Hilton again.
