The bath mat and towels had a yellow stain and were very threadbare. The bath drain wasn’t thoroughly cleaned and had shavings near the drain. The carpet in the room felt old. The iron didn’t work well. The beds were clean.

First thing to note...this hotel is not in the financial district. A simple google overhead view will illustrate easy enough that this hotel is in the heart of Chinatown with a vagrant park directly across the street. When getting to our room late, we found that the bathroom didn't have a bar of hand soap, which is standard in the industry. After calling the front desk and waiting about 20 minutes at 10:30pm at night when we got back from the giants game, they delivered a dish for the soap to sit on, and not the soap itself. It took another call to the front desk to correct this issue with another 10 minute wait.
