The rooms are old but that was to be expected. The pillows and beds were really not good. The other issue was the radiator made constant noise a dripping sound. Then the elevator going yo and down would wake me up as the sound insulation was bad. And the cherry in the cake was I went down for breakfast thinking it was included the lady didn't tell me I didn't order breakfast half way through taking my 2 baby croissants she told me I didn't order breakfast and I was literally dishing things up so they charged me 25 euro for the most pathetic breakfast ever. The hotel could be si much better with some minor improvements. Especially as a budget hotel but there were some really annoying things.

Very old hotel, it really needs an upgrade in everything: bathrooms, beds, elevator,… staff wasn’t the friendliest either… and rooms are not made until after a week, so we were there 4 nights and never got fresh towels or anything… the only good thing was the location which is great! I wish I had read more accurate reviews before booking it…

Great location, a lot of dining options in the area and easy access to public transport. The room was clean though the property is a bit old. The key to the room was an actual key chained to a big block, and we only got one copy. All the other hotels typically gave us card keys. One morning someone we don’t know unlocked and entered our room, and then left. We asked the reception desk who it was (probably cleaning service?) but couldn’t get a clear answer.

Extremely rude staff, room condition is horrible, it had a horrible mold smell, not clean at all, it had no a/c, the bathroom had a lot of broken tiles, there was a light bulb missing, the door didn't close and it had paper towel shoved in the keyhole to cover the opening, and you can hear every car that drives by and it's a very busy street, we barely got any sleep.

Comfortable stay. Staff very accommodating. Well located for a city visit. We would have appreciated access to bottles of water and hot drinks outside of breakfast time. Very noisy street. Better room temperature regulation would be good.

Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, the only drawback was that it was slightly too warm although that was easily fixed by keeping the window open. Would definitely recommend it. Only a short walk to the main Hauptbahnhof and stadt zentrum.
