Excellent service and value

We were very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff who made so much difference to our short stay in Cologne, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were very clean.Also,what a surprise awaited us on the morning of 6th Dec (St.Nicolas Day) to find a present waiting outside our room door containg chocolate,fruit & nuts. We enjoyed our stay and walked to all the attractions as we were so central.

Zu weiche Matratze. Teures Frühstück. Als Gast des Hotels werde ich beim parking in der extrem engen Tiefgarage (Einfahrt Ausfahrt) total abgezockt.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer relativ alt, Betten nicht bequem.

Das Hotel ist von der Lage her gut gelegen. Ein verfügbare Tiefgarage erspart die Parkplatzsuche. Das Personal erschien mir schon beim Check In weniger auf Zack zu sein. Das Hotel ist vom Gesamtzustand in die Jahre gekommen. Ich kann nicht für alle Zimmer sprechen, aber mein Zimmer war muffig und das Interieur war nicht mehr das Neuste. Die Sauberkeit war im Grundsatz aber in Ordnung. Warum ich zu dieser schlechten Bewertung gelange, liegt an dem katastrophalen Zustand der Dusche (der offensichtlich schon länger so war) und dem Umgang des Personals mit dieser Information. Ich erwarte als Gast eines 4 Sterne Hauses einer namenhaften Hotelkette, dass sich für Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigt wird, bei einem freundlichen Hinweis auf die Unzulänglichkeiten im Zimmer. Aber Anspruch und Wirklichkeit liegen ja oft weit auseinander.

Hotel liegt eher in Partyviertel. Die Zimmer sind eher alt eingerichtet, und es riecht sehr unangenehm.

Ihre konstruktive Kritik ist uns sehr wichtig, um den Erwartungen und Wünschen unserer Gäste zu entsprechen und unsere Qualität ständig zu überprüfen. Leider kommt es immer wieder, gerade bei Wetterwechseln, zu Geruchsbelästigungen aus der Kanalisation, auf die wir wenig Einfluss haben, aber versuchen entsprechende Abhilfe zu schaffen. Eine Renovierung des Hotels ist angedacht und wir hoffen, dass dieses Projekt zeitnah angeschoben wird. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir auch zukünftig wieder Ihr Gastgeber in Köln sind. #feelwelcome
