Modern and bright apartment in a very nice area at Islands Brygge. Two bedrooms with space for 4 adults. Located on the 5th floor in a building with lift. Large balcony. Large, beautiful garden. Private parking. Perfect location for both pleasure and exploration. Close to the water and city.

Islands Brygge is a great neighbourhood near the water and the city as well. The area is a wonderful mix of new and old buildings. There really is an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants, take-away places and shops. Bryggen Beach is a popular place during the summer, as the open air pool attracts lots of people bathing and swimming
Langebro bridge takes you straight into the center of town where you can visit Tivoli, New Carlsberg Glyptotek, The Town Hall Square and the pedestrian street 'Strøget'. This is a perfect location for both leisure and relaxing. Close to train - and bus services. Bus 5A stops right outside the door and can take you straight to the airport.

A perfect home-away

This exceptional apartment made our 10-day July vacation even better than we had hoped. First of all, we found everything exactly as described: the fully-equipped kitchen, the sociable floor plan, the immaculate shower room and separate w.c room, the comfortable furniture — it all added to our enjoyment. We ate on the balcony, looking down at life in the peaceful gardens at the heart of the complex. When we set out to explore, we found a fantastic neighbourhood all around us: shops and restaurants nearby, the best bakery in Copenhagen, buses into the centre just minutes away, and wonderful people-watching opportunities all along the swimming park. For four female international friends, age range 45 to 84, it was quite simply perfect.

3 days in the city

We loved our stay in Copenhagen, the apartments was exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was a good size. It was nice to have a washer and dryer as we were traveling for 2 weeks, would. have appreciated laundry soap. The location is quiet but close to public transportation or walking, which we mostly did. Bonus the larger bed is adjustable, which my husband loved, as he has medical condition that requires him to sleep at an incline. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a family! And affordable!

It was close enough to walk to city Centre, but also a nice quiet place. It was affordable and perfect for a couple and two kids! It felt like we were staying in someone's home- had all that we needed!

Great pick!

Great quiet neighborhood location. A generous space for 2 couples and having the extra half bathroom was helpful. Just a short walk over the bridge to the more populated areas and we got to walk home everyday to our safe and comfortable apartment. We found a daily coffee place 2 minutes away and several restaurants very close to support the local neighborhood. The only thing missing was body soap for the shower.

The apartment was perfect for our visit to Denmark. It was clean and very well stocked with what we needed to cook a few meals at home. The location was near a grocery store and the entertainment and the metro. Thank you, would absolutely stay there again.

Perfect location and beautiful apartment

There were 4 of us. Me, my husband and our grown sons 25 and 28. The location was perfect! One night we had dinner on the water at a wonderful restaurant. We were close to a grocery store and public transportation. The apartment was beautiful and modern. It even had a washer and dryer. If we had an issue we could contact someone immediately. I would highly reccomment staying here.

Great but Beds and Shades

The place had great decor, was pretty clean and had most things we needed. A few improvements would be better quality beds, summer comforters, fresh smelling sheets and blackout shades (!). Also, we are a couple and the beds were only made up in the two all-new room, with no sheets available for the master bedroom.

Very accurate description of this property. Pictures are very good and a nice family neighborhood. Close to 2 markets that have everything you could possibly need. Plus the outstanding “ Anderson’s Bakery” Bedrooms have blackout shades, pull up from bottom!! Extra paper products would be helpful.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. It was a nice walk over the bridge into the city center. It was also close to markets and a few restaurants. We hope to return and would choose the same apartment if it was available.

Stay in Island Bryggs Apartment

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 4 days and highly recommend it. Although it is not right in the middle of the city center, it is near a Metro stop and this quickly takes you right into all of the action. The walk to the Metro stop is about 10 minutes. There are two good supermarkets near the apartment as well. One near the Metro and another (Super Brogsen) about 5 minutes from the apartment. The apartment itself is VERY nicely decorated anf felt like a home, not a rental. It was well-supplied and very, very quiet, which we value. We would certainly rent this aprtment again.

Beautiful apartment in a good location

The apartment is modern and clean. It is within walking distance to major sights and a great bike rental shop. The check in process was easy, and the host was helpful. It could use some curtains though since by 4:30 am in the summer, it is super bright, making it hard even for our ten year old son to sleep. Also, we had to make our own beds, which isn’t a problem usually. But you have to fit the mattresses in a case like you do with pillows. It could be tough for less physically nimble guests.

Excellent choice for our stay in Copenhagen

We were extremely happy with our choice of this apartment for our 3 day stay in Copenhagen. The apartment is wonderful and well equipped. The neighborhood is very nice with a grocery store just a 3 or 4 minute walk around the corner. The location is also about a 15 minute walk to the main tourist areas for Tivoli and shopping. Very easy to navigate around the area. There is an elevator in the building to get you up to the 5th floor. The building itself is modern, very quiet, and clean. The apartment has a nice sized balcony that overlooks a common area. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms, one being larger than the other. The photos do not do justice for the beds. I slept in the larger bedroom and while the bed was twin size it was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. Sheets and a comfy comforter are provided for each twin bed. There are actually 2 bathrooms. One with a sink, toilet, and a large walk in shower. The second with a sink and toilet. This worked perfectly for our family of 4. The apartment has one television with various channels including several in English. Check in was very easy. We called the management as we were getting in our transportation from the airport. We waited just a bit to be met at the apartment because several parties were arriving at various rentals all at once. Not a problem though. The person explained all the ins and outs of the apartment and provided us with 2 keys. He also explained the check out process which is very easy. The one thing I will give everyone a heads up about is that the trash chute is outside the apartment door next to the elevator. It is a round receptacle in the wall that requires a key to open. With a little investigating I found the key hanging on the side of the circuit breaker box in the main hallway. Very convenient. I have rented several different places in various countries through VRBO. This one was even better than it looked in the photos. You can't go wrong with this choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the owners for making it seem like a home away from home. We would definitely return if we have the opportunity to visit Copenhagen again.

We spent four nights here earlier this month. The location couldn’t have been better. There are restaurants and two grocery stores within a couple blocks. We were able to walk to every place we wanted to see. If we return to Copenhagen, we would want to stay here again
