The room was adequate for our 2-night stay, smelled good, and quiet. Breakfast was the standard buffet. Morning coffee, tea, hot water were available. Fresh fruits were not so fresh, kinda soggy, and maybe days old. The main complaint I had, which I brought to the manager's attention happened when a member of our group couldn't get in because his key card didn't open the front entrance (not sure why, even though it worked with our room). Exhausted from work, he went back to his car and ended up sleeping out there in the cold for more than an hour after midnight. He didn't want to disturb us so he called the front desk, but no one was there to let him in. It wasn't until one of us in the group woke up past 2AM and realized that he didn't make it inside. She went downstairs to fetch him, didn't see any attendant, and opened the main door. If this didn't happen, I would have given this location 4 stars. If the response from management was more compassionate instead of asking "how many times did he try to call the front desk?" I'd probably give it 5 stars.

I was thankful for the two separate bedrooms. Though upon arrival the rooms smelled of mold, shower drain was clogged and there was no real comforter on the beds. I should have brought an extra blanket. The grounds had litter that could have easily been picked up by the housekeeping staff but they ignored it. It was not a clean feeling at all. We did not even want to partake of the centennial breakfast because it just felt like an unkept place. I would only go back if I could not find a VRBO in the area to rent.

There was a lizard in my room as well as a big roach or water bug. There was also piles of Dog Poop on the side walks leading to the parking lot and unfortunately guest stepped on it. This is my 2nd time booking with hotel. My 1st experience wasn’t like this I will not be returning.
