The expedia website says it can sleep 5 people in the room, however it cannot sleep 5 and the room isn't ADA compliant big enough to legally fit a roll away bed in it

Great hotel!

We stopped in our way to Chicago. The hotel was centrally located, walking distance to so many restaurants and sites! We had to park on the street because of our roof topper, but felt very safe doing so. Bill at the front desk was a great help!!

Other than the possibly crummy parking (either find it yourself on the street or pay for the parking garage), this was an incredible stay!! The staff was all friendly. It was a beautiful hotel. Great night life area! Would absolutely come back!!

Positive: Great view of the river and Capitol Building. Comfortable bed. Clean. Negative: While waiting to check in we listened to a very helpful lady with the hotel guests checking in in front of us. When it got to be our turn, we got, here are your keys. Maybe the guests in front of us were VIP guests? Our toilet was plugged, had to go ourselves to front desk and get the plunger & take it back. Key card for garage parking ramp did not work. Dogs barking in the room across the hall made it difficult to sleep.

My A/C stopped working so stayed here for the night. First time & definitely won't be my last. Found my new stay cation spot. Balcony room was amazing. My only issue is that i purchased the faster wifi option for $4.99. My card was charged $39.84 & $29.84. Had to call number given on my cc statement to get reversed, so definitely check your bank statement if you do purchase.

Nice stay in DT DSM

My brother and I took a road trip from the Chicago area to catch an Iowa Cubs game. I chose Hampton Inn because of the proximity to the stadium, good reviews, and previous experience with the brand (not this location). Overall, we were pleased. Our only disappointment was that we booked because they had a pool and hot tub. Upon check in, we were told that not only was the pool and hot tub closed for cleaning and maintenence from the weekend (we checked in on a Wednesday) but the partner property next door also had their pool and hot tub closed. I later snooped around and discovered that the partner pool was, in fact, being used and the Hampton pool and hot tub had not been drained. Completely to the contrary of what we were told. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to have a qyicker turn around on the cleaning We were also looking for bottled water and were told that its only for diamond status. So a normal customer like me cant get a bottle of water that probably costs them 20 cents to buy. overall, I did love the property and woukd come back. Just with adjusted expectations
