This stay was part of a long vacation with many different hotels. Mill Park was in our top two favorite places that we stayed in Ireland. Exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay again.

Parking is convenient and free on-site. Although the property is not right in central Donegal, it was a short, comfortable walk to the center. The room and bedding was comfortable and the amenities in the room were good. There were several large groups at the hotel so breakfast was a bit hectic for the staff. I would highly recommend Mill Park Hotel if you are visiting Donegal.

The girls at the front desk during our stay need to have some further training on how to act when speaking and dealing with guests. I asked if I could get a bottle of water or glass of water for my heavily pregnant partner, and was told to use the vending machine down the hall, (we could not locate any vending machine) our internet was also not working I called to get it fixed and was told it should be working, she then said she would ask someone - we never heard back. It was expensive stay and the hotel overall is run down and lacks what I would class a 4 star. We won’t be returning.

A bit away from the downtown area and hard to get to by walking given the hotel's location on the N56 and the nearby roundabout, and the hotel did not have much character. Was fine as a place to sleep but was a bit overpriced.

The grounds looked like they may have been really pretty but it was raining too much for us to check them out. If you're looking to walk into downtown Donegal you might find this one to be a bit far. But the trade-off is it's quieter and probably bigger rooms and nicer amenities. It was nice to have live music on site
