Roko House has an excellent location based in the heart of the city wall of Dubrovnik. This made it so easy to visit the attractions and pop back to the room if needed. Although this comes at a price as Roko House is located over a pizzeria. Expect late night noises until at least midnight and then early morning noise from 6am due to deliveries and suitcases being wheeled along the cobbled streets. The communication with Roko house was excellent they responded quickly both before our stay and during it it. We were welcome by a lovely lady who was very helpful in telling us where local amenities were. She gave us helpful information about where to visit and how to get there. Making check in and out very easy. We left very early to catch a ferry and this was no problem. The room itself is cosy but just big enough for two people. The decoration is very nice making it feel homey. We struggled with the hot water and didn’t find there was enough for two people to shower one after another. There was also a small kitchenette but this was not fully stocked having only one plate and one glass so if we wanted to have made a meal in would have been tricky. The building of 6 apartments also had a small roof terrace which we visited just to see. We had forgotten about it until we read some reviews as it wasn’t mentioned on check in. Nice place to breakfast if you don’t mind the stairs. Overall, I would recommend Roko house for the location as long as you don’t mind the noise.

Na ja!

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, direkt über einer Pizzeria. Das Fahrzeug muss aufgrund der Lage des Hotels, in der Fussgängerzone der Altstadt,, ausserhalb der Altstadt abgestellt werden. Daher muss das Gepäck zum Hotel getragen werden, was aufgrund der wenigen Parkplätze sehr weit sein kann. Aufgrund der Lage ist der Pizzageruch und der Lärm nicht zu vermeiden. Ebenso war die Zuständige Dame für das Apartement sehr kurz angebunden und nicht sehr verständnisvoll. Einen Stadtplan oder sonstige Informationen wurden nicht abgegeben.Ebenso ist das Zimmer mit ca. 100 Eiro überteuert.
