If your seat is in economy class on an Emirates flight, you can still expect an excellent range of services. Five-course meals come as standard and you will have the choice of the complete range of complimentary drinks including aperitifs, spirits, beers and a choice of red and white wines (except on flights to Saudi Arabia). Champagne is also available but it has to be paid for. The in-flight entertainment is Emirates’ award-winning ICE package (information, communications and entertainment) which has a huge choice of film, TV and information channels. There are children’s services to keep kids entertained and relaxed. On a flight with Emirates, if you are travelling with children you will be offered free buggies in the airport, priority boarding, nappy changing tables and a bassinet for babies on board. Dedicated children’s in-flight entertainment includes Disney favourites, top kids' TV shows and popular cartoons.
Business-class passengers on Emirates flights also have complimentary chauffeur-driven airport transfers and the same business and first-class airport lounges. Flat-bed seats recline fully for a good night’s rest on all of the A380 aircraft and most Boeing 777s in the fleet. In other aircraft head surrounds provide privacy. You can continue to work, courtesy of the Wi-Fi and laptop power outlets and a side table with computer space. As in first class, meals are served on Royal Doulton bone china plates and come with recommendations of suitable wines to accompany them, and there is unlimited choice from the free bar. As a business-class passenger on a flight with Emirates Airlines, you also have use of the lounge bar so you can stroll or chat in relaxed surroundings. Both first and business-class passengers get a fast-track card to speed progress through immigration at most airports
