Amazing breakfast, views, and room styles. Very much like stepping back into an era of timeless luxury. The hotel was of significant importance in WW2. Staff is fantastic. Great for locational proximity to all major tourist hubs but close enough to train station to use as a home base.

Beautiful property with elegant rooms. Rooftop restaurant is lovely with an attentive staff. The outdoor area was not open for full service due to the time of year, but looked very nice for a visit in the warmer seasons. If coming in on the train as we did - you can't beat the location - convenient to all the sites of Florence.
