Breakfast was amazing! Staff were friendly and it was open late for us to get checked in around midnight after a late flight which was super convenient. 6 minute walk in the morning to see Il Duomo. Be prepared for stairs, which we were, as there are quite a few of them - wouldn't be easy for people with mobility issues but we were fine and knew they were coming :) Room was very quiet, bed comfy, shower hot and everything clean. Was perfect for our one night stay in Florence!

The room was small but comfortable with nice bed and bedding. It's an old hotel built in an old tower, so there are many steps to get upstairs to the lobby and more to the rooms and breakfast area . It is very quiet for sleeping, the breakfast was very good and the facilities and amenities are all newer. It is a lovely older hotel.

Beautiful room, great location, friendly staff, good breakfasy. The only thing that annoyed us was the motion sensor light in the bathroom. If someone had to go in the middle of the night, it was so bright the whole room lit up. Also, it turned off while I was in the shower and no amount of waving my arms turned it back on. Honestly, despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel was perfect and I would gladly stay there again if I ever return.

NO ELEVATOR. so if u've got a big luggage, forget about it. However, unless u r staying at a 5star hotel, this place just might do. Great value, walkable everywhere, in safer area, busy streets, felt like I was thrown in the middle of Firenze back in the time while A/C was working great. VERY CLEAN bathroom was a plus.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up only staying 1. They do not advertise that there are several flights of stairs to get to your room. Our bedding and bathroom were clean but the rest of the room was dusty and dated. The air conditioning did not work well and we were very hot at night. The worst part was that they locked the front door at night and it took the concierge a while to come open it for us — we called and rang the bell and a gentleman from the bar next door drunkenly tried to help us but it took some time to get access to our hotel. I said something to the concierge and he was rude and said he was in the bathroom. I believe he was out smoking cigarettes and did not expect anyone to come late night. This is when we decided we would check out the next day and find a better hotel. We ended up at Globus around the corner which I highly recommend. To the staff here — tell your guests about the stairs in the listing, dust the rooms, and let guests know if the front door will be locked (especially if it will take you 20 mins to answer it!). The gentleman that checked us in and out was very kind.
