Overall its a good place. The staff is good and helpful , location is great. We had a tiny hiccup with the wifi for the annex wing so they offered a room exchange and a free dinner (Thanks to some coaxing from Expedia also)

The staff was very courteous. We found the room clean and elegant. Beds were very comfortable and the set available in the bathroom was of high quality. A bottle of sparkling wine was offered, that unfortunately we could not drink, but we appreciated their thought.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel. We did not sleep night one as they had a convention that went late into the night and was very loud. THey did move us the next day but should have been proactive knowing there was a party occuring outside our hotel room. The staff were not very friendly and we felt as though we were a thorn in there side. Just not a good experience.

Generous portion of breakfast, very traditional Italian setting in a nice quiet boutique hotel set up. Nice furnishings and marble flooring. Excellent location with fantastic dining option and just minutes from SMN train station. If you are up for a game at the Artemio Franchi Stadium to catch Fiorentina in action, the train ride is just a short 15mins away from the SMN station. Will definitely choose this hotel in our next visit.

Very lovely hotel especially for the location so close to the train station. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety and house baked goods. Have stayed here several times in the past 6 years and will continue to stay for reasonable price, great location, comfortable bed, and great service.

Nossa estadia foi excelente, o hotel tem ótimas instalações, quartos espaçosos, ambientes limpíssimos, bem decorados, claros e de muito bom gosto e conforto. Não precisamos de carro para nada, desde a estação de trem a tudo o que há de melhor na cidade, só caminhamos, pela localização privilegiada, perto da estação e Igreja Santa Maria Novella. Todos os funcionários são simpaticíssimos e sorridentes. Houve apenas um problema : calor excessivo no quarto, e o ar condicionado não funcionava, e, por causa da chuva, a janela de teto, elétrica, não se mantinha aberta, mas nos trocaram para o quarto da frente, assim que nos queixamos para a recepção. O café- da -manhã é maravilhoso e muito sortido. Estão de parabéns !!! Recomendo!

This is a wonderfully kept older hotel with all the old-world elegance that such a facility offers but with all the modern conveniences. First rate staff . . .very nice rooms (great beds) with marble bathrooms (with a bathtub!!!!!) and windows that open into a quaint courtyard. And an expansive breakfast was provides as well. Finally, it is in a great location just two blocks from the train station and close to central Florence.

Staff was not very welcoming. They seemed stressed and kind of standoffish - not like any of the other hotels that we went to. The room was BOILING hot! We turned off the heat and opened the doors to the terrace, however the had turned on the hotels, main heat, and it was continuing to blow hot air In room. We could not see we were so hot. Also, the pillows if you would call them that were flat as a pancake! I had put 4 on top of each other to equal one pillow. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for the selection.
