Great staff, room and location

Very centric hotel, with friendly staff, very clean and had a fan. The room was of reasonable size, the bathroom was large, good water pressure and hot water. You have the Mercato Centrale at your doorstep, walk to the Duomo in 5 minutes, the further part is Ponte Vechio. The train station is a 10 minute walk. The towels are different but they do the job just fine.

The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, with restaurants, shops, and the Uffizi and Cathedral within walking distance. Nadine was on duty when we arrived, and she was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was much more than a continental breakfast, and was very good. If you drive into Florence, be aware that you will spend $35-40 Euro daily to park your vehicle in a garage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Collodi. The place is so convenient as all the main attractions are walkable. Moreover, there are also lots of shopping options available nearby. Breakfast is small but sufficient. Staff are friendly and willing to help out. We could even use the elevator to move our big luggage. Overall, great experience and would come again!

Best Hotel in Florence/Firenze

We stayed in several hotels while in Italy and this was one of the best choices and stays. The service was awesome and the rooms was great. Clean and so so convenient with the Market being one street over. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. This was my family’s first time and there were no hidden costs. Thankful for this experience totally.

Cute and cozy!

Cute and cozy hotel not far from the train station and city center. Everything is within walking distance but if you prefer the bus, a bus stop is nearby. They serve a continental, self-service breakfast that is adequate for most. If you are vegan, there will not be much to offer but there are plenty of pasticceria nearby. Also, tons of restaurants in the vicinity for lunch and dinner.
