Perfect location if needing to be near the airport for an early flight. Front desk attendants were great and assisted with booking early taxi for airport transfer. Unfortunately, our room was next to the elevator and sleeping was difficult due to the noise of people coming in and out of the elevator throughout the night. Simply, request a room away from the elevator.

We stayed one night to get close to airport as a departure hotel after a stay elsewhere in rural Florence. It's an airport hotel so no its not near much of anything. There are a couple restaurants within walking but watch the hours, they are not open all day like the city center ones. The one right across the street opened at 12:00 Noon and was perfectly serviceable and the waiter was a character to say the least. The hotel is super convenient to the airport (no shuttle but I couldnt find any airport hotels that had a shuttle service). For our departure the hotel pre-booked us a taxi for 6am, and it turned up exactly at 6am. If you want to get into town its about a 30 Euro ride to City Center I would use this hotel again for the same purpose.

Good:The room was painted uniquely. Franco the front seat clerk was nice. Bad: No complimentary water in the room. No toilet tissue in the room. I had to go back down stairs and ask for the complimentary water and toilet tissue. The room was small, the floor was dirty, the bathroom was teeny tiny with an frosted glass door. The elevator fit only two people. Which made it very hard to go downstairs the next morning because the elevator was never available. He hauled all our heavy suitcases down three flights of stairs. The 3rd floor that we stayed on had badly stained carpeting, the noise level outside the room was terribly loud. The pump soap next to the only sink outside the bathroom was watered down, barely soap. There were loose floor planks in several areas that we hurt or feet on repeatedly and tripped on. I would not recommend this hotel. One plus it was close to the airport.
