Great options for Friends/Family trip

The location is excellent if you are coming with family/friends (maybe not your honeymoon). Just 10 minutes walking from Santa Maria Novella central station carrying my big luggage and the central market is right behind the hotel. Many great options for dining with reasonable (if not cheap) price. Breakfast is great, our quadruple room has 2 separate rooms with super clean bathroom, and staff is very helpful too! Would definitely come back and glad to recommend it....

Perfectly comfortable and well located

Clean, comfortable, a short walk from the station and to all the major attractions. Great breakfast.

tired but acceptable budget hotel

Well located hotel for all the city attractions but tired decor and the rooms were depressingly decorated in dark green and deep red ceramics. Very 60's Great staff and a good continental breakfast....a good budget hotel right next to the central market

Holiday to Florence

Staff were welcoming on arrival at reception. I was disappointed by the room though as extra little touches would have made it so much better. There was only 1 small wardrobe for 3 people so my husband and son lived out of the suitcase. The beds squeaked very loudly every time you turned in the night so sleep was limited. There was only 1 pillow per person. I had to wrap my over blanket up as a 2nd pillow and left it there hoping the cleaner would take the hint but it was not to be. Everything seemed an effort for the reception staff. They need to smile more and greet there customers each day as they come and go. The barman however was amazing! Very friendly, bubbly, gave advise and tips on where to go. Nothing was too much for him. For us, he is the sole reason why the hotel is still in business. Waiters were very friendly too. Breakfast lovely. Did I mention the paper thin walls? Another reason for not sleeping. We could here parents in the next room shouting at their kids, people running up and down the steps, going in and out of their rooms at all hours. The list goes on. The location was fab though, right into the market, very close to food hall and a further walk around the corner to the duomo. Train and bus station just around the corner too.

Excellent location

Ideally located close to the station and within comfortable walking distance of all popular tourist sites. Helpful staff and good (for mainland Europe) breakfast. No English TV chanels but not a problem as little time was spent in the room.

Good hotel. Had a lovely stay.

For a short weekend or business trip this is a really good hotel. There was nothing fancy but this hotel provided a very comfortable stay. I thought I requested a twin room but got a single room (for 90 Euros a night). My room was therefore a bit smaller than expected, particularly the en-suite bathroom, but it was very clean and most importantly very quiet. It was also nicely air conditioned although it did get a bit cold. I didn't work out how to adjust the thermostat! The staff were very friendly and helpful apart from one slightly grumpy receptionist. The location is good too. It isn't in the heart of old Florence but it is very close to it, right next to a large clothes market and very close to the station and several nice restaurants. The breakfast was the only disappointment. Better to get breakfast in one of the local cafes on Via Nazionale.

Perfect Hotel, Perfect Location!

If you are coming from the Train station, you take about 5 to 10 minutes to reach this hotel. The staff is friendly and the location is superb. The hotel is located at the beginning of Mercato di San Lorenzo e in 5 minutes walk you can reach Santa Maria Novella square. The hotel itself, apart from its location, has spacious rooms and everything, the rooms, the breakfast, is really in good state. I would suggest other travellers to book for this hotel.

Schöne grosse Zimmer aber kalt. Die Air Condition war viel zu kalt eingestellt und konnte nur mit Hilfe des Personals ausgeschaltet werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und die Bedienung äusserst zuvorkommend.
