This charming house is an olive grove of 10,000 m2 on the mountain of Puig Major overlooking the 'Sierra de Tramuntana', declared a World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscape by UNESCO. Ideal to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rustic environment. Only 8 minutes from Fornalutx, 15 minutes away from the town of SĂłller, as well as the beach of Puerto de SĂłller. The house is an example of sustainable life, using solar energy. It offers tasteful wooden furniture and stone crafts. It is part of a larger, independent and private estate, with access and own parking, surrounded by trees, orchards and marjales. Ideal place for walking, hiking, wonderful walks through the surrounding mountain landscapes, are easily accessible.

Fornalutx has been voted the most beautiful town in Spain on several occasions. Located in a valley of the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees, with its Moorish stone marshes. Soller is considered one of the most beautiful and romantic villages on the island. Both villages with their stone houses, orange trees, etc. They have a lot of bars and restaurants with their special charm and traditional Mallorcan cuisine. They also have their own local market, banks and stores. In the Port of SĂłller you can find some bars and good restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish and meat too, some located on the seafront. Boat excursions are made from the port to visit the north coast (grand tour-GR) Mountain biking is also practiced.

This place is a hidden gem in complete isolation set amongst the mountains. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The bed is memory foam and was SO comfy! After 3 weeks of travelling we had the best sleeps here. The host and property manager were very easy to deal with from booking to check in. If you want to experience serenity tucked away from the main touristy attractions then this place is perfect for you. Only a short drive away from Fornalutz, we liked to start our mornings with a small hike around the surrounding villages, starting in Fornalutz, before trying out the local artisan bakery and cafes. Port Soller is a 20 minute drive away which was perfect for afternoon swims. This place is perfect if you don’t mind having to drive everywhere, it’s definitely worth it for the experience of this gorgeous property!

This was a great mountain escape close to the small towns and mountainous drives and trails. The kitchen with the wood fireplace was fantastic as we often chose to make our meals and enjoy a roaring fire. The bonus was listening and seeing the sheep and baby lambs in the farm next to the house. It was a lovely stay and we would come again.

Lovely quiet location, A perfect antidote to the crowds. Tomeu very welcoming with some lovely oranges and lemons from his farm, Coming from the Cotswolds we know all about sheep (!) but these were particularly charming with their bells and friendly manner, loved watching them especially during feeding time. Stunning location, only 10 minutes from Fornalutx which is beautiful with lovely restaurants and a beautiful outlook over the mountains. Very much enjoyed driving in the Tramontana mountains with its beautiful villages and stunning scenery and a lot of cyclists!! Thank you, Tomeu, for a lovely week In your beautiful cottage/Casa!

If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves.

Fabulous slice of heaven in the country

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was the perfect place to get off the grid and enjoy some peace and tranquility. The home is nestled among groves of olive trees, with spectacular views all around. The herd of sheep was an added bonus...we were entertained by them daily!

Rural property to get away from it all

A lovely quiet property within a short drive to facilities of Fornalutx and Soller (one of my favourite areas), plus a great base to explore the wider mountain range. We would have liked to explore some of the walking trails in the area, but the lovely weather was just too hot! Mari made us feel very welcome (even at our very late time of arrival and remained a message away from any other help/information that we needed - a perfect host!

Beautiful mountain location and rustic charm!

We were delighted with the beautiful mountain location of this traditional house. Nicely remote from more touristy areas, while only a few minutes drive from the superb village of Fornalutx. The property was full of rustic charm! Our favorite moment was enjoying sunset with a glass of wine on the patio with the background sound of sheep bells.

Traditional Mallorcan house in the Serra de Tramuntana

It was lovely to stay in a traditional stone farm house in the mountains. It was quite chilly, so we lit a fire in the kitchen each morning & evening. The manager & the owner were both very friendly & helpful. It was delightful to wake up to both bird song & the sound of the sheep's bells. A good base from which to explore the north west/west of the island. We enjoyed some good walks & visited many of the recommended villages, towns, the monastery at Lluc & explored Palma. What a wonderful variety!

A very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting.

The property was lovely and in a very peaceful and secluded setting. The owners have thought of everything. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated. Mari was very friendly and helpful, before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to those looking for a traditional and quiet place to stay, surrounded by the spectacular Tramuntana mountains.

Full of character surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees as well as friendly sheep

The setting of this property was exceptional. A real gem close to the beautiful village of Fornalutx. It did not disappoint in any way and exceeded our expectations. Inside the property was in traditional style ,comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The outside environment was truly special and in particular the outside kitchen with BBQ and pizza oven was a highlight. This was a great place and the hospitality from Mari was very attentive - a power cut because of a lighting strike to the generator was sorted within an hour of contacting her. We would recommend wholeheartedly.

Excellent point de chute pour ceux qui aiment le calme, l’authenticitĂ©, la nature.Maison perdue au milieu des oliviers Ă  20min du premier village.TrĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e interieur et extĂ©rieur. Il fait chaud, mais la terrasse couverte et les arbres font qu’il y a toujours un espace agrĂ©able Ă  l’ombre.Jus d’orange pressĂ© chaque matin avec les oranges du propriĂ©taire : un dĂ©lice !J’enlĂšve une Ă©toile pour l’absence de clim. C’est une maison ancienne qui garde la fraicheur et qu’on peut aĂ©rer le soir, mais malgrĂ© cela, un petit coup de clim avant de s’endormir le soir aurait Ă©tĂ© un plus.

Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind super, es gibt sogar schnelles Internet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.Wie auch in der Beschreibung ersichtlich ist das Haus sehr abgelegen, bis zum nĂ€chsten Supermarkt sind es gut 20 minuten mit dem Auto, es gibt keine möglichkeit mit den ÖPNV zu fahren

Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, mitten in einem Olivenhain mit Schafen. Die grandiose Natur um das Haus sind traumhaft. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Das Haus ist mit allem gut eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefĂŒhlt. Herzlichen Dank an die freundlichen Gastgeber, die bei Fragen jederzeit zu kontaktieren waren. Wir kommen gerne wieder und vermissen die Ruhe jetzt schon.

The house is perfectly situated in an amazing location, and the host personally guided us during check-in. We were delighted to find fresh oranges and lemons from the property's trees upon arrival. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, es bstand jederzeit die Möglichkeit d en Besitzer oder die Agentur zu kontaktieren. Es war woe beschrieben. Ein uriges Steinhaus im Tramuntana Gebirge, Schafe als einzige Mitbewohner. DIe Einrichtung war einfach, aber zweckmĂ€ssug, es fehlte nichts. Einziges Manko waren die vielen MĂŒcken, gegen die noch nicht einmal die einheimischen Mittel halfen. Man konnte viele Orte von dort aus in kurzer Zeit ereichen. anfahren oder aber einfacen.zweckmĂ€ssig
