Tremont

The hotel was extremely clean and pleasant. It's right behind the strand, so very close to all sorts of activities. It's historic feel is amazing!!! We wanted to stay longer but had to leave without gets a full experience. We will definitely be back soon and I'll update the review.

Elegant but short on comfort.

Very elegant hotel in wonderful location one block from The Strand. We Had had a room facing the large interior skylight of the hotel. We found it to be very dark. Also, most of the furniture is lovely design-wise but very uncomfortable. Beds excellent. No desk in room. No drawers in dresser - only shelves.

This was an excellent place to stay the night before a cruise. We had a long drive and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is well decorated and the entire staff was helpful. Particularly the overnight team who greeted us and made our late arrival easy.

Day one garbage truck woke us up at 6am. Tolad this would not happen for three more days, but day 2 again at 5:33 and this morning again at 3:33 am. Unbelievable noise in the alley way below our room.

The staff was abrupt, dissmissive and not very professional. The room was nice but did not have some amenities that lesser hotels have included. We stayed in a room on an outer wall and it was very loud outside the hotel all night until 2 in the morning. I have stayed at many properties in different cities and paid less for better quality and a more professional staff.
