Rural villa with private outdoor pool, separate annexe and vast outdoor spaces

A spacious, private and rurally located villa on the outskirts of Gata de Gorgos, on the east coast of Spain.

The house is secure with remote-control electric front gates and security lighting.

In the main house there is a large master bedroom with super king bed, stunning mountain views and en suite bathroom (with bath and shower). The house also features a double room, a twin room and a family bathroom (with shower). A further large bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom (with shower) can be found across the terrace in a separate annexe building. All bedrooms have air conditioning units.

The lounge has 2 x sofas (1 x 3-seater sofa/ sofa-bed, 1 x 2-seater sofa), air conditioning, wood burning stove, 60” LED television with Sky+ HD and Sky Sports HD, DVD player, a selection of books. An additional seating area is located in the Naya with a large corner sofa.

There is a fully operational kitchen with dishwasher, induction hobs, oven and large American style fridge freezer, along with a spacious dining room area with table and seating for 6-8 people. A laundry room with washing machine is also available.

The outdoor space is vast, with spacious outdoor terraces and numerous seating areas, including a dining table for 8 and a comfortable seating area. There is a 10 x 4 metre outdoor swimming pool with underwater lighting and 8 x poolside sun loungers. The house has a Sonos music system with BOSE outdoor speakers located on the main terrace along with a gas BBQ.

High-speed wifi is available throughout the house.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Jenisi, the villa is in a very quiet, peaceful area but still near facilities being on the outskirts of Gata de Gorgos. The villa is well equipped and comfortable with a very good outside sound system for music and Sky tv with sports channels. The outside area offers a covered table and chairs which we used the whole fortnight of our stay and a comfortable seating area with a beautiful view over the gardens and hills in the distance. The pool area is superb and a lovely size with nice sun loungers surrounding it and there is shade if needed under the trees. We did purchase a couple of covers for the sun loungers which made them extra comfortable and enjoyed having a snooze on them after a swim. We visited Javea and Moraira and found plenty of restaurants to eat and drove out to Guadalest and the waterfalls at Callosa which are stunning. All in all a great place to stay, so much so we have booked for a fortnight next year!

Large spacious villa in great location however cleanliness and general housekeeping let it down which was really disappointing. We had rented this more expensive villa for a special occasion - didn’t expect to have to start sweeping floors and washing dishes on arrival. Certainly did not match up to the previous reviews we had chosen this villa based on.WiFi challenging, sofa broken, dirty broken BBQ and bedroom lamp held together with electrical tape amongst some of the issues.Owner and housekeeper quick to respond when contacted, housekeeper inspected property and had cleaner attended to sort some of the issues.Definately let down by their housekeeping team.

We had a great stay as a family of 7 at Casa Jenisi and made some wonderful memories! The views are spectacular - especially at sunrise - and the pool was a real highlight for us. The villa is spacious and in a beautiful, peaceful setting yet close to amenities. We were able to have a lovely day trip to Javea beach which we would highly recommend. The owners and local neighbour are exceptionally responsive and helpful.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely loved our stay here, fantastic villa with stunning views. Only minor criticism would be the road just before the entrance is pretty horrendous with few large potholes which is a worry when you are in a hire car but that said we negotiated it without a problem. We loved the villa's location and would not hesitate in returning left feeling very refreshed - Thank you Simon & Amy

Another great visit - highly recommended

We returned for a second year to Casa Jenisi and loved it just as much this time. The villa is beautifully clean and the pool and terrace wonderful for lots of relaxation and fun. Gata de Gorgos is also a fab Spanish village where you won’t find many tourists but a warm welcome from all the locals. Javea is a lovely traditional Spanish beach town nearby and Dénia is a bigger but also lovely town to visit as well. Simon and Amy and Caroline (neighbour) all looked after us very well when we had any queries. Many thanks

Incredible Villa, amazing holiday!

We (5 adults 3 children) have just returned from 9 nights staying at this beautiful villa! A wonderful location, with a cosy and homely feel. Incredible spacious outdoor areas which were enjoyed by all. Gata was a beautiful village with a really authentic spanish feel and the villa was the perfect base to explore from. The hosts were brilliant and responded so quickly with any questions. Would also highly recommend a meal at Bar Arraval in Gata for some amazing traditional Spanish food! We would definitely recommend this amazing Villa and can’t wait till return!

A wonderful Villa holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the villa with our family. The pool was fabulous and the villa very peaceful due to its rural location. The villa was spacious & the perfect size for our family of 6. We enjoyed days relaxing by the pool and evenings out in Morira & Javea. The owners of the villa were always on hand if needed and were extremely accommodating to our needs

Wonderful villa in a great location

We're just back from a fab two weeks at Casa Jenisi. The villa is really gorgeous and in a beautiful location with a great unspoilt view out to the coast. We spent many a happy hour on the terrace soaking it all in and also down a few steps in the swimming pool area . The inside of the villa is also very spacious and comfortable. We are a family of six (two parents and three adult children/one girlfriend in their twenties) and the villa worked well for us but would do equally well with younger children or children and grandparents with three bedrooms close to each other and an annex. We loved Gata de Gorges - some great restaurants with delicious food at excellent prices and a choice of bars to watch the world go by. Also the tram in Gata is amazing as it will take you easily to some great places - we went to Denia which is well worth visiting and only a 15 minute ride away. All in all we will definitely be back to spend some more time on that terrace and do a bit more exploring. Thank you! Fiona and family

We are very sorry to be leaving this property and what has been a fantastic family holiday.

We have had a fabulous holiday at Casa Jenisi and sorry we had to leave. The villa was wonderful and fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. We loved the pool area and dining on the top terrace, the views were stunning. Simon and Amy were great hosts and we're quick to respond to our emails before our holiday. A wonderful week

A perfect location to explore from. We visited Javea, Denia and Moraira all of which very interesting with lovely lunches also. These trips were interspursed with time around Gata and this wonderful Villa. The villa has everything that anyone would need to provide a home from home experience. We were blessed with sunny days so the pool and bbq were well used. Arr Els retuarant a real treat and the beer garden opposite the cinema a true gem. Will return but next time for 2 weeks. We didn't want to leave!

Fantastic

My family and I had a smashing two week holiday in this wonderful villa. The villa and pool was very clean and was lovely and spacious. It had everything we wanted, including Sky Sports so I was able to follow the end of the exciting test match :-) The location was superb with lovely views over the valley and mounrtains. It was also beautifully quiet. We would recommend this villa.

Great stay

Speedy, comprehensive communication from owners and excellent pre arrival info. filled us with confidence for a great stay; and we were not disappointed. Location is peaceful but only 20 min stroll from Gata, which has good local facilities and Spanish feel. One week of our stay was fiesta which was unique experience for us, bull running, live music, fireworks, parades etc. Seaside towns of Denia, Javea and Calpe only 20-30 mins drive away for vast selection of restaurants, shops and supermarkets, with plenty of free / cheap parking. The villa is spacious and well equipped with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The barbeque and outdoor eating area were well used. Super pool with many inflatables (and pump!) available. We would happily return.

Lovely Villa

Upon arrival after having taken a wrong turn we were impressed by the lovely villa and it’s surroundings. One slight niggle was the road up to the entrance which had bushes either side and was not a proper road surface so we were a bit fearful for our hire car every time we drove up and down. The villa was beautiful and plenty room for everyone indoors and out. The villa is quite rural more so than I thought which meant we had to travel every night into Denia or Javea for dinner and a bit of life as we had 3 teens with us. If you don’t like venturing too far then this villa is ideal as the town has everything you would need but for us it was just too quiet. Simon and Amy were very helpful when we had no WiFi on arrival and had this sorted for us as soon as they could. All in all it’s a great villa albeit too rural for us.

Great rural villa

Communication with the owners prior to arrival was very good, and a very quick response, we had a very late flight in so the owners arranged some beer, wine and nibbles in the fridge ( payable to the neighbour ) which was great before we went to the supermarket in the morning, which was only a 10 min drive at the most as we went to the large one just outside the small town, there are plenty supermarkets near all the local towns all just a short drive away. Some of the family walked to the local baker in the town on some occasions it was about a 20 min walk for some fresh bread ect. The villa was fantastic, finished to a very high standard had everything you would expect, and looks a lot better than the pictures, had air con in all the bedrooms which was welcome in the heat, we BBQ most nights and went out for a meal a couple of times, found a fantastic steak house about 15 mins away, mentioned in the quest book, also had ample seating area, and most days were spent at the lovely pool area having the added bonus of a fridge at it, had to contact the owners a couple of times during our stay for very minor things and the response was immediate, thanks, Over all we had a great time and would certainly come back, nice quiet location for a family holiday, with the busy coast only 20 minutes away if you require, once again thanks to Simon and Amy

2nd visit to this wonderful villa

This was a return trip to the villa, so we knew we were in for a relaxing week We are a family party with ages from under one to 65. There is so much space here that no one is I see each other's feet. There is always somewhere you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Simon and Any have installed a new BBQ so again lots of outdoor cooking. With a baby under 6 months the annex is a godsend! Mum dad and baby were all self contained so when and if he woke in the night it didn't disturb the rest of the house. If I had any thing bad to say it would be that the neighbours dog is a barker! But if course there is little that Simon and Any can do about that. It just ment that we had to shut the Windows at night and use the air-con. Once again thank you Simon and Any for a wonder time at your piece of Spanish heaven.

Pure relaxation

2nd time here and loved it even more than the first! Villa feels so spacious inside and out, you are never on top of each other. Pool and gardens beautifully kept. You can sit by the pool and puck your oranges to eat or squeeze for breakfast or your lemons for your drinks.. this makes it feel even more special. Love Gata... especially Arr Ells restaurant and Kieths little garden bar opposite the cinema. Can't wait to do back next year, may do 2 weeks as there us so much more we want to see in the area, feel we have only scratched the surface. Thank you for the most amazing stay... again! Great house, amazing surroundings

We really enjoyed our stay in Gata de Gorgos. The house is spacious and the beds are good. The weather wasn’t that good when we were there but because there are so many spots you can sit inside (with a beautiful view) we still had a great time.

A perfect venue for a family gathering

A well appointed roomy villa with fantastic views all around. Clean pool and great outside areas. 15 mins walk to Gata town or a 5 euro cab ride. Loved it so much we rebooked for next year whilst still there.

A beautiful, relaxing villa to stay in with all you need for your stay. We highly recommend it.

This villa is set in such a beautiful part of Spain which gives amazing views of the mountains from all rooms of the villa. Plenty of space to relax (even with our large family) and we had all we needed for our stay to hand. Lots of thought and attention has gone into making it a holiday to enjoy and remember. We highly recommend this villa to anyone and wish to book again soon. The pool is set down in the garden with a lockable gate so we were reassured of our children’s safety. With local supermarkets and wonderful little Spanish shops, we didn’t have to go far for anything we needed. The locals were friendly and welcoming and Andy (caretaker) was very helpful and looked after the pool and anything else we required during our stay. We had the holiday we were always dreaming of and the luxurious villa was even better than we had imagined. The local area was absolutely stunning. If you book here, you won’t be disappointed.
