Central location and easy to park and also walk to restaurants and beach, but for a five star property the bathroom and room was out of date and not as clean as I would expect from a Sofitel hotel, definitely not a luxurious stay this time, the room smelt musty, the shower had a leak and overall everything was dated

The property over all is out dated and original and in poor condition. That would be ok but when we arrived in our room the bed looked like it was broken with the middle of the mattress caved in. We also asked for this to be looked at and no response. We went for drinks to room 81 and the service was absolutely terrible. The food that was served was cold and when you order hot chips and pay $14 for a small child like bowl they should not come out cold. We had to clean the tables ourselves and take our empty drinks back to the bar and the drinks were very expensive. Overall, I would not even pay 50% of what I paid to stay at the Sofitel.
