I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Centro Guadalajara and overall had a good experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful — they really went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of good options to start the day.
A few things to note: the bar is quite limited, offering mostly local beers, and the drinks are on the pricey side. Also, be cautious about arriving late at night — the area outside can feel unsafe due to the number of homeless individuals nearby. Finding the entrance and parking area can be tricky too, since the front door isn’t clearly visible from the main street and parking signs are not well marked.
Overall, it’s a comfortable and well-staffed hotel once you’re inside, but clearer directions and improved surroundings would make for a better first impression.
