Quiet Hotel. Friendly staff. Room is clean.

The hotel is located along the main road and very convenient to call a cab. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is near to a housing estate and can get good and cheap food easily.

Hotel close to the Pazhou complex.

The hotel is not too bad. This is the second time that i stay in this hotel. The check in only takes 5 minutes. The staf were waiting for us. The only bad is that the air conditionar it was not working. they solve the problem after 2 days.

Great hotel next to a local park!!!

I decided to switch hotels last minutes because I noticed this hotel located in a better place! I booked Dan Executive hotel and cancelled it. I was right! Dan Ex is located in a very far area, nothing around. Daysun has everything you need-great location: you can see the part cross the street. there's a local farm market i think. Hotel is clean, quiet, even though it's close to main street. Close to Canton Fair!! Service is very good! I really enjoyed it. Will stay here again! Highly recommend to everyone

Amazing staff and location

The experience to stay at Daysun hotel was amazing. I just enjoyed very much the way that staff look after us and great location, room, good breakfast and services in general are pretty well prepared to reach the expectations from people from west. Next time I am in business in Guangzhou I will stay again with them

I will never stay there again. It very rundown with no maintenance being carried out. Some staff including management unable to speak or under stand English.

Just OK, I would not use this hotel again

The hotel in general is a good hotel, not a 4 star hotel, closer to 3 stars. Its a little old, but clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Nice work area and free drinks from the minibar. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is because its far away from everything. There is nothing close to the hotel and the nearest metro station its about 10 minutes away by taxi. If you walk a good 10 minutes in each direction there are a few shops, but nothing special or attractive restaurants. However, the restaurant next door to the hotel was not bad at all, not fancy, but pretty tasty food. The breakfast buffet is catered for Chinese people, not westerners. There is a good selection of food, but most of it is vegetables, chicken, noodles, soup. There was a small eggs section, but the eggs were done many at a time and piled up in a corner of the buffet already cold. The wifi was very slow, however, the wired connection worked perfectly. Finally, there is not even one TV channel in English, not even news.

Great staff!

The hotel's staff was wonderful. There were 2 elevators which were adequate.The hotel also provided convenient shuttle buses to the trade show. This was extremely useful because it's incredibly difficult to get a taxi cab in Guangzhou. taxi fares are cheap so locals will outrun you to get a taxi cab, we spent 1 whole hour to get a taxi to visit a shopping mall and 1 hour for returning. The room size was adequate, at the beginning there was a smell like mold.. as if the room was not ventilated well enough. The odour was particularly strong in the closet so we chose not to use the closet in order to avoid our clothes smelling like that. Although the room was cleaned thoroughly there were fungus stains in the bathroom caulk particularly around the shower area.Everything else was clean. 2 complimentary bottles of water daily in the room. Breakfast buffet was included and the offerings changed daily they had very good fruit in general the food was bland.Do wake up early to go as early as possible for breakfast because otherwise you only get leftovers. There is a KFC about 3 blocks from the hotel, it was very convenient. Just going down that street there was a very interesting local market, several blocks filled with local stores. If you walk 15 minutes there's a Pizza Hut. Bus stop right outside the hotel (there's a route that connects you to the city subway), it may be easier to take a bus than to take a taxi. Overall it was a great choice, will definitely stay there again.

My business partners and I enjoyed our stay at the Guangzhou Daysun Park Hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and close to the Canton Fair with excellent shuttle service to this even. While this Hotel may not be an international 5 star hotel, the staff was excellent and eager to help. In particular, Lina, one of the supervisors in the restaurant, was very attentive to our every need and comfort. Her English was excellent and made dinning in this foreign country a memorable and enjoyable experience. I'd recommend this hotel to any business traveler!
