A good hotel, fair price, great location and decen

Pros: Positives – Good location – a few mins walk from Metro, attractive enough, and decent size with good facilities.
Cons: Negatives – No air con or lift.. I reported a broken light bulb but it was never repaired.

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the Altona metro. A day ticket for the central area which includes the airport for family of 5 is €12 ! We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in April 2018. The cost was good by Hamburg standards. It does not have air con and we found it rather hot sometimes and the controls are not very effective. Our flat screen medium sized TV had one English news channel. The wifi worked well on all of our devices as did out roaming when out and about in Hamburg. Facilities included a large king bed and a single, TV, fridge, chairs, wardrobe etc. There was a decent sized bathroom with an effective shower. Toilet, etc. A hair dryer was provided. There was no lift. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. I reported a broken light bulb but it was never repaired. Breakfast was from 7 to 10 and a typical but good quality continental offering was available. Tea/coffee/juice, boiled eggs, some fruit, natural yogurt, selection of breads and cold meets, cereals, etc. Great. All in all I would give them 9 out of 10 and would stay there again provided it was not at peak season as far as temperature was concerned.

Great location, comfortable, clean

Clean, comfortable,very good breakfast, lots of hot water, friendly staff, good location, excellent value.WiFi ok no smell of smoke. Small room, no lift.

Es gibt keinen Aufzug, die Treppen sind sehr lang und steil. Mit viel Gepäck für etw. ältere Menschen nicht zu empfehlen! Im ersten Stock nur Zimmer zur viel befahrenen Strasse hin ! Alles sehr ringhörig.

Einfach, aber gut!

Dieses Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Hamburg! Die Lage ist super, direkt beim Bahnhof Altona, somit überall und sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar. Wer es gerne einfach hat, und das Zimmer nur zum übernachten braucht, ist hier völlig richtig. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, wobei mir die Früchteauswahl zu wenig war, da nur Äpfel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich werde wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

In Anbetracht des günstigen Preises war das Hotel so weit o.k. Der fehlende Fahrstuhl ist für ältere Reisende allerdings ein Problem. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Zimmer war nicht sauber, unangenehmer Geruch im Bad, es gab nur ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, obwohl Doppelzimmer gebucht worden war, Heizung ließ sich nicht regulieren und lief die ganze Nacht auf höchster Stufe trotz Beschwerde und Nachfrage an der Rezeption ließ sich dies nicht ändern

Pros: Sijainti hyvä ja sänky oli sopivan pehmeä.
Location: Sijainti hyvä. Altonan metro- ja juna-asema olivat lähellä .Ruokakaupat olivat lähellä hotellia myös.
Hotellin edullisuus näkyi kaikessa. Pieni huone, sängyt eri puolella huonetta ja sänkyjen välissä siirreltävä sähköpatteri ainoana lämmityksenä. Jääkaappi oli lämmin ja tyhjä. Suihkuallas oli matala ja kaikki vesi tuli vessan lattialle. Aamupalana oli vain vaaleaa sämpylää, juustosiivuja, makkarasiivuja ,jogurttia ja hilloa, muroja ja keskeltä raaka kanamuna .Kaksi kupillista kahvia .Ei mitään lämmintä(munakasta, nakkia tai lihapullia) eikä vihanneksiakaan. Yöpyjille tarkoitettu netti ei toiminut eikä hotellin tukiasema toiminut kännykässä eikä tabletissa. Joten nettiyhteys oli poikki. Vastaanotossa oli sekä ystävällinen henkilö sekä tökerön epäystävällinen ,joka ei tervehtinyt tullessamme eikä lähtiessämme edes vilkaissut meitä.
