Location was very convenient and mostly walkable distance. Small room but fairly clean except for some blood stain on the douvet cover. Staff took care of it once notified. Breakfast staff ask lots of 'Why'questions when we requested if we can pack some breakfast to go for our child due to early tour bus pickup.

The room was spacious including the bathroom. Everything was clean and the shower pressure was amazing (strong and actual good hot water that didn't run out). The breakfast options are great too, so recommend adding that to your reservation. Overall service was great, with everyone super friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that there were little ants around the room - some crawled onto the bed and into my bags... I know this is common in Vietnam homes, but didn't expect them in a hotel.

Our rooms, connected 2 rooms, were very spacious. It's in front of busy street with lots of shops and restaurants yet inside the room was quiet. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. They arranged 3 tours for us and it saved our time, and we enjoyed all of them. Very friendly, professional staff. We had to leave early in the morning around 6am for our flight and they even prepared breakfast to go 😊 We would definitely stay again if we have chance to visit Hanoi.

We enjoyed our stay at Oriental Hotel. The staff, especially Vivian, Sam, and Bob were super helpful and friendly. It was raining and the street in front of the hotel was blocked off so Bob accompanied us to ensure we met a grab at the correct location. Breakfast is good but there is no dining for dinner. Very charming and quaint atmosphere would definitely stay again if travel brings me back to Hanoi.
