The room was excellent, clean and spacious. Nice view of street scene. Breakfast was excellent buffet style with many different entrees to choose from as wells items cooked to order. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable and well-situated hotel

Very close to Independence Palace. Exceptionally helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast extra and not exceptional...plenty of other options nearby.

What a beautiful and charming hotel. The reception area, room and the grounds are breathtaking. The breakfast has a very nice and fresh selection everyday. What is exceptional is the staff, they are alway helpful, and genuinely kind. 'Ai', at the conciege/reception desk is a beautiful helping soul. She is sweet, kind, and beautiful. The Silverland Yen Hotel is a bit dated but is very clean and well maintained. It is close to a large market and there are many dining options nearby. The breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. However, what makes this hotel stand out is the service. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and extremely polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Great boutique hotel in a convenient location. The property itself has very nice decor with a Japanese theme. The afternoon tea is a nice touch, and the rooftop bar, while small, provides a great view of Ho Chi Minh City. The staff throughout the property were fantastic! Highly recommend this for a solo traveller, or a couple.

A little gem

This hotel was centrally located. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. They even bought up a slice of cake for my birthday! The rooftop bar was a wonderful surprise! My cocktail was good - thanks to the bartender!!!

Our stay at Silverland Yen Hotel was okay, with some highlights but also a few drawbacks. We enjoyed our stay overall and got good sleep—the bed was very comfortable, which made a big difference. The daily tea time was really great, and the live music was exceptional—definitely standout features of the experience. The bamboo decor added a nice touch of charm, but some of the design choices in the room, especially the bathroom, didn’t make much sense and felt impractical. Taking a shower in the spa bathtub was awkward, and getting out felt like a safety hazard. The gap between the bathtub and the glass window seemed like a poor design choice—it was not only inconvenient but also a spot where filth could easily collect. The staff were welcoming and kind, but we couldn’t help feeling like other guests received more attentive and personalized treatment. Our interactions felt rushed, and the overall experience lacked that personal touch we were hoping for. While there were enjoyable aspects of our stay, the hotel has room for improvement in design, functionality, and guest service.

Wonderful Hospitality

The people who run the show here are very hospitality oriented and work very hard to show their professionalism. The tea time is a very nice touch with amazingly tasty food. This area is a fairly good location with a wonderful juice bar/cafe right next door and only a 15 minute walk to the opera house and there are several markets close by. We were happy with everything.
