Welcome to this log home with high ceilings, where every corner oozes history and charm. With ancestral farm furniture and aesthetic details, this home offers a unique atmosphere where past meets present. The large windows invite the beauty of nature inside, while the solid wooden beams and creaking wood stove create a sense of rural idyll.



The décor is both rustic and inviting with a well-equipped kitchen-dining room, butcher block bench and wicker chairs for long evenings by the fire. The charming bedrooms with wooden beams and good reading lights ensure a good night's sleep. A fully furnished playhouse and a wealth of toys ensure children have fun on their own terms.



Outside, you can enjoy the beautiful bathing jetty, which is a 15-minute walk away, or you can cook over an open fire at the shelter. The shelter also comes with three mattresses so you can sleep under the stars on a hot summer day. The terrace and surrounding fields offer the perfect setting to enjoy the sunshine and local wildlife such as deer and hares.



The area around the property offers a variety of excursions from the Café and Kunstgården in Uglerup to exciting hikes along the Fjord Trail. Visit Odsherred Geopark or enjoy a day at Sommerland Sjælland. There are plenty of opportunities to create unforgettable memories in the scenic area.

An incredibly cozy vacation home, decorated with lots of interesting and antique items. It has everything you need, plus access to those little extras you might have forgotten to bring for the kitchen. A beautiful natural setting with a view of horses in the field across the way.

A very, very clean wooden house on a huge lot in a quiet location: ideal for families with children! The house has a very pleasant and private atmosphere. The bedrooms are on the small side. The kitchen is fully equipped, but you’ll have to wash and dry the dishes yourself. The Baltic Sea is about a 15-minute walk away; the path leads through the summer cottage community and is sheltered from the wind. We had fairly cool weather in early May—so we made extensive use of the Swedish stove for heating—there’s plenty of wood available. Knowing how to heat the house properly is expected here (as in all Danish summer houses). There is a washing machine but no dryer—so laundry must be hung to dry either on the clothesline or on the drying rack. Since all costs were included in the rent, there were no additional charges.
