The hotel is kinda old even with the remodeled It’s fair from Waikiki. The Ala Moana beach and park has lots of homeless people Not worth the stay but if you’re on a budget then this hotel is fine to just sleep. Rooms are decent. Overall I’d never come back. It’s far from Waikiki And to many homeless people around Spend more and stay somewhere nicer

Checking-in was a bit questionable. I asked for a room that was not facing the wall of another adjacent building and was charged an extra fee for another room. I have been staying at this hotel off and on since 1988. I also didn't like the resort fee!!!
