Workers were friendly. Our room wasn't ready when we got there. Waited for 30 mins. Went back, waited in a long line & it still wasn't ready. So they gave us an upgraded room but we requested 2 beds for 4 people but got a 1 bed room. Room was in horrible condition even tho it was an upgrade. Smells & no AC. Switched out to a 2 bed. Room had roaches & possibly bedbugs. My kids had bug bites on their bodies. We ended up staying just 1 night. No one got any sleep. Front desk was very nice tho.

Did not like: checking in, not getting the room I payed for, none was available until the next day: did not feel like changing rooms so stayed in the room they gave us: we left the do not disturb sign on our door: twice housekeeping entered, without permission, and cleaned the room, leaving the do not disturb sign inside on the counter.

The pictures are misleading. The room has aged, hence the furniture was in a questionable state, the mattresses too. The carpet needs to be changed. There was a hair hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, soap marks. The wifi wasn't working at all (the router was dead), and the pool was in repair. I wouldn't recommend this place as it wasted the last leg of our dreamy trip to Hawaii.

Me and my family is bouncing from hotel to hotel but we always try to find our way back to Island Colony because it's the only place that feels like home. We always have great customer service from the employees at the front desk. The location is great and my kids loves the place always ask to come back just wish we could make it home.
