My husband and I decided to go West for our birthdays this year. An otherwise wonderful experience was completely ruined by the lack of humanity and overzealousness by Hilton’s security supervisor who was taking directions from Vernon, the ABC store manager, one of your vendors. My husband was accused of “shoplifting” a $5.00(and change) drink, and was forcefully removed from the store by Vernon. Once outside the store, Vernon proceeded to berate and spew profanity and foul language at my husband within an earshot of other guests in the premises, while also forcing him to sign something (unclear what the form was). Security then proceeded to escort my husband to our room, ordered to gather his belongings and evicted him from the hotel. I applaud your hotel’s policy ( if there is one) on zero tolerance in terms of theft, but at some point deductive reasoning needs to prevail. This was a huge misunderstanding and fortunately Eugene the hotel manager listened to my reasonable explanation and made an exception. For guests to travel 4,000 miles, spend thousands of $$, there is no money issue involved, no illness or affliction either, stealing does not fit into the equation at all. I’m thinking Vernon decided in an instant that my husband is a criminal based on appearance and how he spoke. Are these behavior in alignment with your organization’s core values? Evicting and humiliating guests based on inaccurate assessment of a situation? Would be happy to provide more details.

There were different activities everyday for kids like taking pictures with the Easter bunny, outdoor movie watching Moana, feeding the koi fish, etc. Also, the beach area is well maintained.

Run down rooms (old, paint peeling all over, dirty carpet). 3 days having to ask for towels… . Pools are good, beach is better when you walk toward the main Waikīkī beach.

We stayed at the Diamond Head tower.The rooms were run down and smelly and so were the hallways. Yhe bathroom shower was slippery and claustrophobically small. The air conditioner sucked as it wouldn't go below 69 degrees and anytime you opened the lanai oding door the AC would shut off. The cleaning staff was nice and accommodating. The view from the room overlook the back street, but it had a very decent view of the ocean. Absolutely no view of Dimond Head. Several beautiful pools to xhise from with beautiful waterfalls and slides the kids enjoyed, but the water was dirty and murky every single day. The hotel had excellent access to the beach and the lagoon, but the lagoon water was even worse. Aside from cloudy water there was poop floating in the water. The hotel has great access to shopping and dinning, even a tattoo shop. I didn't like that just about anyone has access to the property such as the pools and elevators with access to the rooms. The restaurants and the bars were super expensive. But the the self parking and valet parking took the win at $79 self park & $89 Valet parking. We opted for valet parking as my mother couldn't walk to far. Almost $800 i parking fees, not including car rental wich was another $450. Coffee shops closed early and there was no food delivery services allowed to the property. I do however appreciate that the hotel allowed guest in the pool late at night because it was hot! I STILL LOVE HI❤️

Towel service lines combined with rentals and your booking. The pool side towels were all out, so they were sending people to the beach one which also does tours. So there was a huge line of people waiting for towels while the person was selling snorkels and rentals. Everybody was getting angry having to wait for so long.

Rooms were well taken care off and beds were comfortable (Tapa room). Easy check-in and check-out. Pools were clean and things were locally convenient. My family really enjoyed the stay.
