Scam!!

Do not book this property! We booked, paid in advance and tried to communicate with the host multiple times with no response. I did not receive check in details the day before so the day of check in I messaged to inquire. I also sent at least two more messages throughout the day inquiring about the property as far as kitchen items, etc., and never got a response. Check in was 4:00 so we began our travel to Houston. At 3:30 I still had not received check in details so called, text and also sent a message through VRBO with NO response. I called VRBO who said go to the property as maybe they will meet us there. When we arrived at the property it was not at all what was represented in the photos and is not is a good part of town. It is a run down apartment complex with broken down cars and shady looking peopel hanging out in front. I called, text and messaged the host again, waited 30 minutes and again no response. Contacted VRBO who also tried to contact the host to no avail. VRBO did handle the situation and put us in a hotel for the night and refunded us what we paid for this property.
