A lovely 5 star hotel at a reasonable price. The reception area was amazing with gorgeous arches. We loved the various lamps in reception and in our rooms, very unusual. The breakfasts were excellent with every sort of food imaginable (no orange juice, though). The only downside for us was that we couldn't use the inside pool, jacuzzi area for a quick swim unless we paid for a €11 day pass. We only had 4 nights there so we didn't want a whole day pass. It would just have been lovely to relax in the pool area after a busy day sightseeing. A great hotel.

5* hotel close to the beach and the Harbor.

Top class hotel within walking distance of the harbor and 100 meters from the beach in a clean quiet area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast charges are a bit excessive but plenty of places to get breakfast or a coffee and croissant nearby.

perfect position close to beach

Pros: relaxed, plenty of space , ambient lighting
Cons: access to the spa without a charge, even if it was limited access
Location: nice beach in front of hotel, with magnificent beaches on the other side of the marina, nice restaurants and helpful staff
we had a lovely holiday and the hotel staff were all very polite and made an effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay

Relaxing short getaway!

Pros: The pool and beach access
Location: The Marina is filled with shops, restaurants and bars. There are also some nice restaurants in Quarteira near the hotel. Tours available close by.
My cousin and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in July for five nights. We were greeted by very friendly staff and were upgraded to a suite upon check-in. We were pleasantly surprised to find a huge suite complete with a large bed (can be separated into twin beds) and a living room. The bathroom is well equipped. There was a balcony with a direct oceanfront view and we enjoyed morning coffees out there on the chairs. The hotel has an enormous pool and plenty of places to sunbathe. The pool bar was also very convenient. We accessed the beach easily as it was just across the boardwalk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away from the hotel. We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast one morning and there was nightly musical entertainment beside the restaurant. We would often come back from the local area after dinner and sit outside with a drink to enjoy the music. There were a lot of families with young children there and the property was very safe and generally quiet. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza.

Excellent hotel perfectly located.

Pros: Excellent facilities provided throughout the hotel and it was perfectly positioned for visiting the beach, the Marina and the promenade at Quarteira.
Cons: Nothing we can think of
Location: Villamoura Marina - beautiful boats, large range of restaurants and shops. Villamoura beach - clean golden sands. Quarteira beach promenade
Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast provided in a spacious, well staffed restaurant and a good range of snacks available throughout the day/evening in the bar area. (We did not have an evening meal at the restaurant so cannot comment on this). Very clean room with a large comfortable bed and excellent facilities - all you would expect from this standard of hotel.

Pure pleasure

Pure pleasure and luxury at this hotel. Breakfast is heavenly and the surrounding and amenities are perfect. The only gripe I had about this hotel is that lunch food was pretty poor. We also had lunch from the pool bar menu and this was terrible (a sandwich and a few crisps for 12-15 euros. Definitely not worth it. But everything else was an absolute pleasure.

Great Hotel on the Beach

Loved this hotel and everything about it. We stayed a week and can't find fault at all. staff are wonderful and super helpful. Food and room amenities are all very good
