Disappointed

Parts of the hotel were worn down, Hotel restaurant and pool bar are not connected when it comes to communications pool bar was nice but you had to go upstairs to get stuff rather than just order it from your room. No pool cues for the pool table, no ice for the room, it seemed like anytime we asked the front desk or something they couldn’t really help us or perhaps were too lazy to care -not sure. I think once it used to be a really nice place but right now it’s under poor management and they’re not reinvesting profit back into the property. Many areas were rundown certainly not five star. I’d give it maybe three stars.

We were pleased with the location of the hotel - easy access to beach and restaurants. Breakfast was phenomenal - everything you could want. We weren’t that pleased with Luca’s restaurant. For the price is was about a 4 on a scale of 1-10.

Amazing such a beautiful welcome to Portugal! Weather was great and the rooftop was fun. Take the scenic walk over the cliffs to the next beach and go down the stairs to heaven! The beach is gorgeous. Thank you for the best service and the delicious dinners at Luca’s roof top!

Great pool area and very clean hotel. Location was excellent. Grocery store next door in “Burger King” mall was great to restock for trips. Staff were not over friendly, when asked questions about storing bags until check in.

Shoulder season?

Hotel is located in an excellent location near the beach and is walking distance to Old Lagos and the boardwalks. Rooms are relatively small, no smart tv and no bathroom fans. The breakfast buffet option is very much worth its value. While the hotel was full. The lounge bar wasn’t open. Definitely enjoyed the stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit dated, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The value for money is in the rooms that look onto the ocean and boardwalks, and the proximity to the beach and walking trails. The restaurant is quite nice and we liked the food quite a lot for dinner and lunch. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday with medium quality, but we were satisfied given the price we paid for our stay. As honeymooners, a cute display was on our bed when we arrived with a free bottle of water and wine. The cleaning ladies were lovely. The roof top pool is also great and not to be missed on a sunny day! We would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Lagos is a very touristy City and we likely didn’t need to stay here as long as we did even though the landscapes were stunning.
