The room was fine, clean and in good condition. It was SO LOUD though! Both nights of my stay I had problems sleeping due to traffic sounds and hallway noises. Staff was friendly, amenities were good. Just maybe the location was rough.

The staff was kind and helpful, I just wish housekeeping would be improved. The housekeeper was already wearing black gloves when they knocked on my room door, they changed the garbages with those gloves, took my old towels with those same gloves on and then handed me new clean towels while wearing the same dirty gloves. This happened each time housekeeping came, it wasn't just a one-off incident. I find that part disgusting to hand over clean towels with the same dirty gloves and I question if they even change their gloves in between cleaning different rooms.

Good hotel, great breakfast. The location was a bit weird. We chose to stay in the Galleria, thinking we'd be near things, and could perhaps even walk for dinner. Nah, Houston isn't like that. We were basically right next to a freeway, and sidewalks were barely existent and dimly lit.
