We were there for an event in Indy. The hotel elevator was a little sketchy- it wouldn’t let us off, then kept taking us to 2 then back to 1. We used the stairs instead! The staff was friendly however the building is outdated. The room smelled like fungus & old cigarettes. Weirdly there was a box fan & electric heater in the room.

First the location is quite convoluted to get to, the hotel is seriously lacking in the upkeep. Our room AC did not work so we have one portable heater and a portable AC with a vent taped the exhaust out the window. Everything is banged up and just dirty and sad looking. The sheets were clean and white and the bed was comfortable. Too expensive for the value we paid.

I stayed here about a month back and it has gone downhill quickly. The elevator was havibg programming issues. They had to call in someone to fix it twice while I was there. Staff was excellent save that they are understaffed. I feel bad how overwhelmed they seemed. But they still served with a smile. Our room looked like it was quickly repaired. There was water damage on the bottom of the bathrrom door. The fan didn't work onbthe heater/ac unit. There was a lot of trash around ourside the horel. Maybe because of the snow that melted it showed trash not yet collected. It did not look like that a month ago. Hope it doesnt continue to go down hill. Ill have to stay elsewhere.

The day of my travel I tested positive for Covid. Both American Airlines and Enterprise were gracious and granted me a credit and a refund, but despite the fact that Covid is something for which I should quarantine, the Holiday Inn was unwilling to give me any type of refund or credit. This is very disappointing and I will not be booking this facility again.
