We came for the Big 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament and it is literally a 1 minute walk across the street to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Many dining options very close by. Hotel was clean and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would stay here again.

I have been staying at this property for two years now for the work truck show. And this year was the worst when it comes to the room. Not once did room service clean the room. There is no hot water at night after a long day of networking and walking the show and after a few rounds of drinks all I want is a hot shower. There is no hot water. I'm furious I paid a premium price for this hotel that should never be the case. So unfortunately I won't be back.

The room was freezing and I couldn'tget it to warm up, the top of the bed was smashed down, there was only one trash can hidden away in the bathroom with no bag in it, and I went up to my room about an hour before checkout to make sure i had everything, and they had already started cleaning the room. The shower had water spraying from behind the shower head with little water pressure coming from the actual shower head. Some of the elevator key pads were broken, and my room key wouldnt work on the parking garage at any door even though it was their garage.

Not the best. Not the worst.

Two of the four elevators were down which made check-in and taking luggage up a pain. You couldn’t take the stairs to the lobby, they only went outside. Plates at breakfast had food caked on them. Room was nice and clean.

The hotel had a beautiful room and view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with comfortable beds and a hot shower! We also enjoyed the convenience of walking across the street to our venue.

At time of check-in two of the four elevators were out. Over 20 guests waiting, front desk did not let us know at check-in. No out of order signs were posted and many unhappy guests. Sofa sleeper in terrible shape, mattress was worn and thin, the carpet under the sleeper hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The pool experience was a disaster. A youth sports team took over the pool, roughhousing and loud. This made the pool unusable for others. Called the desk to complain and clerk seemed unconcerned. Breakfast was very good.

Trouble with the shower door in room 635. It does not stay shut, rolls open immediately. Tried everything to get it to stay shut. Water was all over the floor because of this and the wall paper is ruined. It is an opportunity for mold and mildew to grow if it hasn’t already. The amount of bleach that became aromatic in the shower was unbearable. I believe my sore throat this morning is from the inhalation of heavy bleach fumes.
