Sam really did an outstanding job as the Chief Entertainment Officer! One of the friendliest people I’ve ever met in Turkey. He made our stay so happy and stress-free—from arranging seamless hotel transport to offering us coffee every time he saw us, always making sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. Truly seamless service! The hotel is great value for money, with a good location and excellent coffee offerings. Nothing more to ask for! It felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Sam and all the staff were so friendly. The service was excellent and perhaps the best we have ever had in a hotel. It’s in a very convenient area close to transport - trams, buses, ferries. Great selection of places to eat too. Our room was large for 3 people. Beds very comfortable. We were only a few tram stops away from the touristy areas. Only negative was the bathroom - it was dated and the shower was tiny.

Even a single night stay at this magnificent hotel was memorable. From hotel transfer to Room service, everything was excellent. Sam was very polite and went out of his way to make us feel at home. I hope they will also start providing breakfast soon. Will visit again soon.

The people working are like family, the bed was good (firm) nice pillows. Great water pressure. Really nice hotel room design with everything you need, blowdryer, slippers, soaps and lotions high quality great scent. They offer coffee, cappuccino, tea, luggage storage. It was perfect for me.

I stayed at the Union Hotel for about 5 days as a solo traveller. The room was perfect and had everything I needed, but the best thing about the hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Sam was especially helpful and I really appreciated all the recommendations around the city he gave me. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, albeit a bit of a workout sometimes due to the steep incline of the streets! All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Amazing hosts, thank you Sam and Mariam for the amazing service. The hotel was clean and situated in a very convenient spot with the kabatas ferry and M1 line nearby. One thing I would say is this may not be ideal if you have a car as there is no parking on hotel premises; however there are paid parking lots nearby. Overall it is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend

Great location, close to public transportation. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was on a third floor without elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage

Ideal spot

Staff was very very friendly and accommodating. They understood the reason for my trip and took good care of me. 5/5 star service hands down, would definitely recommend. Walking distance to the train station and bus stop so be sure to take full advantage of the day passes because you will save alot of money on transportation

A good night stay in Istanbul

The hotel is located in a convenient location yet we need to walk up about five floors to our room. The room itself is clean and spacious and has a view to the ocean. The staff is very friendly and offered us cappuccino in the morning. He would also like to provide other information upon request.
