Room reflected online did not look the same in person. The room was awkward and view of the rooftop also was not appealing. Also the draw to night table would not stay closed and blocked entry to bathroom. Toilet seat cover was missing a screw. Called housekeeping for an iron and it was never delivered, the one in room was not working. The only positive thing was that the room was clean. However will never stay here again

Staff was great, Jersey City is a cool town, PATH station & HBLR drop-off in the same location was perfect. Breakfast was good too, just ensure you get there early to beat the crowd. We travelled with 5 family members and there was plenty of space in our 2 bedroom, kitchen had all the amenities needed. The room was surprisingly large and comfortable. Only issue was the check-in time, after 3pm, the staff did accommodate by holding our luggage, but an earlier check-in after a long trip would’ve helped out a lot. Other than that great location and great staff. When we go back we will definitely be booking with Hyatt House Jersey City again.

Bed was very comfortable and location was good. Fabulous cocktails. But that's kind of all the good stuff i have to say. Overall it was a disappointing stay. Room was noisy, due to tram stop outside window (although to be fair, we didn't ask if a quieter room was available). Breakfast was absolute chaos. The food itself was ok. But they kept running out of bowls and spoons. There was never anywhere to sit. And no one wiping down tables, so when you did find somewhere it was usually sticky and disgusting. House keeping was poor. We only had one housekeeping visit during 4 night stay. That in itself was ok. But the one and only visit left us with no clean towels, no toilet paper and no fresh bin liner. I think possibly the worst thing was the complete lack of green credentials. An enormous amount of single use plastics and paper cups. I definitely wouldn't stay here again 😕

The rooftop restaurant, one of the hotels biggest draws, was unusable to regular hotel guests. The large party left no room for any guest to even get a drink. The bar staff was so rude we decided to dine elsewhere our entire stay.
