This place was dusty and smelled it too..took about 10 minutes to get in the room with the key card..the door..lol if you wanted in you just had to give it a nice kick and it would open..the locks were useless becouse the door jam was loose and everything just wriggled around once all locked up.. we put a chair up against the doorknob..but it could have been broken into easily. .the rooms are great size and served it purpose..the bed was clean..mattress was awful and the pillows were flat..the fridge was running all night and sounded like a neon sign over the whole room..the bathroom was filthy..i had to clean it before we used it..pee all over the toilet seat and that was sliding all over..the tub was dirty and you had to hold on to the towel rack so you didnt slide all over and fall..water pressure was not good and the towels were so cheap.. bring your own toiletries..and on the way out of the bathroom on the last sweep of the room before we left..roaches running behind the mirror..roaches!! As we were going up the elevator the people after us were like.. we inly need thecroom for a couple of hours..so if i were you..dont bother..its better to stay inside the city..its wasn't any more costly..and you would have gotten free breakfast..i would recommend getting the $5 room insurance.. i hit book before i checked out the comments..my bad..but still.. just pass on this one..

Stay away from this hotel.

I read mixed reviews before booking and took the risk anyway. The hotel is in bad shape: peeling wall paint, vending machines with expired snacks, a small cockroach inside the WC, moldy bathtub caulk, clogged shower head, and a humid smell. We checked for bedbugs and there were none, but we sprayed the room with Raid just in case. No bugs were seen again, but we left our luggage closed when going out and didn't dare to use the coffee maker. We stayed in the room for the least possible time to get enough rest from a day in the city. The younger attendant was helpful, but the older lady and gentleman were not very guest-friendly. We didn't change hotels because, during the Holiday week, there was nothing decent available for less than $300. The hotel has free parking and it's about a 10-minute drive from Secaucus Junction's park and ride where you board trains to Penn Station. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not book it again.

WORST PLACE EVER

Horrible place, deceitful photos. Didn't stay at all. Saw the outside all rundown, the inside worse. The place is good to film a horror movie. Left for a different hotel. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT book this place.

A Place to Sleep W/out Breaking the Bank

It is a bed to sleep in. No real perks, the furnishings definitely have wear and tear. The pillow were probably the worst part for us, as they were super thin. The front desk staff were all nice, but not overly helpful. Bus stops are a 5 minute walk, then the ride is 20 minutes to NYC.

The hotel is good enough for the price that you’re paying. I was scared because of the reviews I read before but actually my stay was pretty good, my bedroom had clean towels and bed sheets, the bathroom had shampoo, soap and toilet paper, the room in general was clean. The only problem I found is that the bathroom smelled like curry sometimes, could be some problems with de duct but it wasn’t to bad. I like that bus stops were close, there was a gas station literally next to the hotel, there were a lot of restaurants near the hotel and also a CVS in case you need some medicine. I recommended it if you’re looking for a cheap comfortable hotel

The milage on the website of distance from pennstation is inaccutate say 4.6 when it was really 7.6,no taxi uber would leave city, an didn t feek comfortable taken subway with children. Guess I should have checked uber first instead of beliving milage on expedia

The door didn’t have working lock, the bed was lumpy and uneven, several plugs using a power strip for a HUGE fire hazard and the roach crawling across the bathroom floor was the scale tipper.
