Lively beachside hotel with a fun vibe, basic but comfotable modern rooms, warm pool and lo ely hot tub and a fun beachside resturant. Also close to a local biking trail with free access to beach cruiser bikes ans free morning beachside yoga class. If you are looking for fancy/ formal/ elegant this is not your place! If you are looking for a fun Kauai adventuring spot don't hesitate!

The hotel has a chill vibe. We liked the smaller size, decor, free bikes and location. The ocean was to rough to swim in in front of the hotel, but that wasn't a big deal as we were out most days doing other things. The staff was great. We also liked the singers that played every night.

We loved Kauai Shores! They have complimentary valet parking (they grab your car within seconds), free daily yoga, and free bikes available to use. The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were perfect. The hotel is steps away from the beach. Lava lava beach club is a plus they had great food and drinks. The staff was very friendly too! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area in Kauai.

Our stay at Kauai Shores was wonderful! The location was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed the fact that we could walk outside and sit with our coffee on the beach for sun rise. The water was too rough to swim in, but it was just a short drive to the more swimmable beach. Our room was nice and spacious. The restaurant on site was just ok....it seemed very expensive and although the food was decent, it wasn't as good as some other places we ate on the island. It was nice to have the full bar on site, however, and they had live music a couple of the evenings we were there which we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary valet parking was a perk. The location on the island was good because it was fairly close to the airport and kind of centrally located between north and south shore. Overall, a really wonderful experience and we would definitely consider staying again if we returned.
